I mean, I could go ahead and say that the majority of Lucas' films aren't really all that great if you watch them with a critical eye, but I don't want to bring the whole house of cards down.

I agree, and truth be told I'm not that much of a Lucas fan. I enjoy elements of things he has done but generally I am not all that enamored with his work. The only movies of his I own are American Graffiti and Raiders of the Lost Ark. If they released the original theatrical version of The Empire Strikes Back on Blu-Ray I would probably pick that up.

The only part of Raiders I can think of that is perplexing is when Indy hitches a ride on the sub out in the middle of the ocean.

I thought the Raiders films were Spielberg movies.

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

He directed them, Lucas was the producer and worked on the story. From interviews it was initially more of a way for friends to work on a project together and collaborate, but, especially with this last one, Lucas was the driving force behind it and Spielberg was more or less only doing it to hang out with his friends.
