Right and conservative are fairly interchangeable these days. Same with liberal and left. It's all been branded to death.

I like this way of looking at political leanings:

Some of the questions are kind of leading, but the chart itself gives a good picture. Unlike that ridiculous poll in the OP.

For the record I'm a right leaning Libertarian.

I would normally vote ALCP (Aotearoa Legalise Cannibis Party) because i cant decide between Labour and National.
BUT I'm voting National this year because Phil Goff only shuns National's policies, and says nothing about his own.

I can just imagine Americans yelling "WHAT?" because they have never even heard of this tiny island nation, let alone understand how it forms a government.
AND to top it off Encyclopedia Americania only has a footnote showing the flag and stating that you can't send your nuclear-powered ships there for reasons unknown.

NOTE: I just made up the idea of Encyclopedia Americania about 20 seconds ago

"...More Space Marines that you can poke a stick at..."

95% of teens would go into a panic attack if the jonas brothers were about to jump off the empire state building copy and paste this if you are the 5% who would pull up a lawn chair grab some popcorn and yell JUMP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

A classical liberal does not fall much on the far right side of the spectrum economically and isn't even close socially. It's fair that you would try to hitch your horse in such a nice stable though, even if it doesn't belong.
