I don't understand the type of person that will act in those ways over pieces of plastic on marginally better then average deals. A 360 will drop like 30% off MSRP maximum, their prices and profit margin are pretty set. To act like that over what would amount to sixty dollars max is indicative of something dysfunctional. I've worked commission based retail during black friday, it's not a fun experience.

I believe its called the "Mob mentality" phenomena. people do things in large groups that they wouldn't do on their own. The large mass of shoppers acts like a inhibition reducing drug.

its the same thing that causes quiet people to become loudmouths at a sporting event, cheering their team on.
