I've gone for indifferent as i'm not really sure where I stand.
I like the fact a lot of people have also noticed the funny in orks is only skin deep and that if you actually stop and think they are quite horrific. In sonme ways the humour makes them that much more horrific.
I mean turning someone into a squig at first seem quite humourous but if you actually stop and think about it bing changed at a genetic level has got to be hugely painful.
I can see why some people don't think the mesh well with the current grim dark, but I don't think I would want to see them change.
I love the Ciaphis Caine books and I love the Grimdark, if orks ever seem too silly to me i just peel back the outer layer an actually look at what they are doing, but I don't think
40k can really take itself too seriously. I mean the
GK's have orangutans working for them.
