Back when I played CSM, I took 3 bikers to eat up some left over points. Decided on 1st turn to move them into cover and rolled 3 1's.

My buddy plays SW. He Jaws of the Warwolf my Avatar and I rolled a freakin' 6.

Rolling 8 6's for my 1 warwalker with 2 scat lasers to hit and 8 1's to wound. Damn farseer didn't get doom off.

Improbable is kinda the point of this thread. I had a friend fire his main gun from a fresh baneblade at a target 8" away. It scattered back on to the tank and then rolled a pen followed by enough 6's to wreck the tank. What is the probability of that?

Same tournament, same guy who was the intended target of the aforementioned baneblade, fired his shock attack gun 4 times and got double sixxes 3 times.

My Necron Lychguard swept a MEQ unit in close combat. That is the only time I've ever swept something in this game.

Veteran Sergeant gets his squad mauled by a Carnifex during nid turn. Runs away from CC, and gets ordered back into the fight by commander in the shooting phase of the guard turn.

Carnifex only has one wound left. Sergeants turns around, aims his pistol, and kills the brute... Right in the eye.

I had an Eldar scout go 2 turns with a bloodthirster in 2nd edition. I don't remember stats and such from back then, just that it was pretty incredible. Somehow I disengaged and just ran him off the board rather than lose him after that crazy feat.

Then some pirates found its body. Thinking a rreward for a corpse, the rivived it, and it woke up. It has been plagueing the Ultramar area ever since. So began the story of Old One Eye.

Early last year, my tyranids vs his IG. Don't know how long it look, but I pretty much wiped his force out. Exept for that damn sentinel. It had a multi-laser and just kept on circling my nids. It killed about 15 gaunts, 3 warriors and a lictor. Multi-lazar don't mean nothing to a charging carnifex though.

I actually made a draw once.

Just recently I had one DE Warrior (with a Blaster) that had had his Raider and the rest of his squad shot down by Vendettas and such. This one Warrior proceeded to make all his cover saves from three Vendettas shooting at him for the next two turns, (one was immob, another had a few weapons knocked out so it wasn't the highest potential), but there were 30 Lascannon and Heavy Bolter shots pumped into that one guy. Then a damaged squad of 5 Guardsmen proceeds to shoot at him, 3 hit, 1 wounds, and he fails it.

Last game, my first try at a DE deathstar killed 3 Chimeras, 1 Infantry squad, 2 Veteran squads and a Hydra Tank. During this time it took 2 wounds on the Liquifier, and 1 Grotesque died. Crazy.

My deathstar was:
Archon, Drugs (didn't need em, won't take em next time), Agoniser, PGL, SF (145)
Haemonculus, Liquifier, Scissorhand (75)
4 Grotesques, Liquifier (150)
Raider, Flickerfield (70)

So for a total of 440 points, I took out 480 points of Guard and drew fire from a good amount of the army. So the unit earned its points back, and also served as a very good fire magnet. Besides, 16 S6 attacks, 4 S4 attacks and 6 S4 Agoniser attacks on the charge, plus two Liquifiers is a force to be reckoned with.

This was an old game well over a year ago when 1 squad of 3 of my Necron Heavy Destroyers successfully hit, and penetrated a baneblade on it's front armor, and then made it blow up with a 16 inch radius all on my first turn. It was a 2v2 4000-4500 pt apoc battle which my tyranid ally and I ended up winning (brutally if I may say so) against Tau and IG. Ahhhh... makes me miss having a Lord equipped with Veil of Darkness instead of having to take a Cryptek or Obyron for it... sigh

I forgot to mention it was a plasma pistol too. My buddy plays that Carnifex as OOE to this day.

I was recently in a 2v1 game of Guard and Space marines against my Tau. A six man Veteran Squad of Guardsmen charged one of my Stealth Suit Teams (also a six man)..and all the Guardsmen died... Then the same stealth suit team was attacked by a ten man squad of Marine Scouts, and got stuck in for the turn. When it was my next turn i threw another Stealth team in to the fight (yet another six man) and two fire warriors (that squad took a lot of casualties elsewhere) and somehow managed to kill off all of the surviving scouts.

Some crazier standouts:

-*-Thunderlord takes one round of shooting. 3 Wounds. 3 1s. 275 character flushed.

-*-My opponent's Dire Avenger squad bladestorms a Bloodthirster of mine. Does not a wound. He then multi-assaults it and three flamers. That single squad of Dire Avengers proceeds to annihilate the Bloodthirster, three flamers, and 1.5 Daemon Princes. In Close Combat.

-*-Opponent dropped down that squad from BA that can DS and assault. My Mark of the Wulfen rends 4 times, murdering 80% of the squad. BA loses combat, gets swept.

-*-Mephiston assaults a squad of Grey Hunters. Murders 6 of 7. Last man standing? Mark of the Wulfen. Rends 3 times, Mephi dies.

General rule of thumb, if you want awesome, take the random guy that can get 8 attacks and =

You know I had the funniest thing happen to me recently... I lost.

In a game today my army got thoroghly crushed by a Grey Knight player, mainly because I couldn't make a flat-out coversave for my life, but also because his strategy was very good. Anyway, he was gonna win if he could remove 10 Guardians from an objective with 2 Terminators. They charged in and killed 4. I hit back and killed none. So I had to make a leadership test at Ld 4. And, of course I made it with a double two, and the game was a tie.
