GW has never paid attention to currency conversion. If they did, American prices would be a hell of a lot higher.

As for this price list, the nail is in the coffin. You're either okay with paying these prices, or you're not. There's no grey area, like "Well, I'll pay the price for one or two character models, because the high quality is worth it."

Gotta figure out what I'm going to do for Kroot Hounds and Krootoxen. Sigh.

They're $37.25 right now.

It's also kind of interesting that the Kommandos with Burna/Big Shoota(which are $15 USD each) aren't listed on this as they're metals which need to be Finecasted as well.

Might be they've rolled them into the box.

FW do a conversion kit wihich added to the price of ten boyze makes it cheaper to get that, so getting 10 Kommandos than getting 5 of the finecast ones!!!

Is this the list for new finecast or rerelease of old metals?

Could the lack of chaos in this list be indicative of an imminent arrival?

It all sounds great...except that it most likely means we're not getting an update anytime soon (Q1 2013 was the most recent rumor)...

Don't forget that you have to pay for shipping so overall it will work out as slightly more expensive than the GW one.

Almost certainly as there's alot of chaos that desperately needs updating the only reason I can think that we haven't seen anything recently is because its now within the codex embargo period. GW almost never release products (or even do finecast updates) for an army in the 12 months before a codex release as they like to take optimal advantage of the combined advertising.

On the other hand the release of Tau stuff probably means there won't be a new Tau codex before the end of next year or even until 2014.

Incidently, have the Necrons now got every unit in their codex?

I really like the Kroot Hound/Krootox models, but I think I'd rather burn my money for warmth than pay that much for them.

I want Tau releases as much as any Tau player, but not Finecast price increases. I think the guy that comes up with these prices must wake up laughing.

The Hive Tyrant got turned into Finecost during the initial Finecost wave, long before the plastic one came out.
