And another ganger/juve. He's armed with an pickaxe. both ends ended up pointing upside down, because I accidentally heated it after gluing. It warped, my bad

Time to revive this blog again. I have put the nomad project on hold for a while. I'm getting more and more back into historicals these days.

Hence the following update. A couple of years ago, I bought 4 Victrics Napoleonic Box sets, which set me up with 240 British and french models to assemble and paint. I bought these at a fair for cheap and it was intended for when I burned out on a project and wanted to do something else. Well that day has come.

I've started with French Infantry from 1804 to 1807. First 5 are done. Now there's only 55 of these guys to do.

I don't think this project will see the finish line. I am interested in Early middle age/ dark age miniatures at the moment, especially Viking models, and I'll get started on them as soon as I get a chance to pick up a box of them.

In the mean time, here's a little update.

The french Infantry is starting to shape up. The crouching model is a Voltigeur, where as the line infantry are Fusiliers.

Fireblade Shas'Anuk (Roughly translated FireBird) WIP

It's been a while since i've done something.

Some WIP on the nomads.


First up is a WIP ganger.




Only work to be done on this one is cleanup some of the greenstuff and maybe change his melee weapon.

Next up is a WIP scratchbuilt Vehicle. Major parts aren't glued together. I could use some advise as to what looks best. Personally i think it looks best with the engine in front. But my first idea was to place it at the back.




As you can see, it's still in a very early stage.

If I can get hold of some tracks, the wheels are going in favor of a tracked system.

I started painting the truck. Still WIP through. Figured I'd show it.

Liking the newest ganger, and the truck looks much better now it's got some paint on it - what sort of scheme were you thinking of, colour-wise?

Although I like more the Imperial Guard army; where are the horses from?

Dark Apostle: Thanks! I think I'm going to keep it simple. The rust will stay for the most part. The raging winds in the wastelands chip away paint in weeks I imagine. I think I'm hoing to paint some armor plates. Thinking about greens and black and yellow hazard stripes.

Finished another Guard Infantry squad.

Worked on some LOTR Easterlings using Non Metallic painting.

I finished a Macedonian Command. Hope you like them. I haven't based they yet, because they're going to get new bases. Work on that later.

You've got some great stuff going on here. I know it was from a while back, but I love those guardsmen dragoon conversions. Keep it up!

Thanks Brushcommando! Glad you like it. The dragoons, and the Guard as a whole, are stored away now. I'm not planning on working on them for a while.

I started on the Ash Waste Nomads again. One more finished ganger and a WIP.





His coat is acually more highlighted but the pics are a bit to dark to see. Better take pictures uing daylight from now on. :p

Here's another update. Finished the juve and a ganger with a shotgun. The shotgunner is clean, no conversion work on him.






I've already had some games in with them. I'm really liking the playstyle of Ash Waste Nomads. Three more models to paint, and the gang as it now stands is complete. That doesn't mean I'll be done on ash wastes though

First up is a finished ganger. This is by far the best member of the gang in the campaign we're running now. Rapid Fire, Infiltration, BS 4, W 2. I'm starting to like this guy.
