Not all limited editions work out to be money spinners.

My local comic shop has a couple boxes of Dreadfleet still sitting on the shelf.

This is very true. Anybody that used to play Magic The Gathering back in the day, will remember what happened with Fallen Empires.
Some stores closed after that release, because they banked everything on another Legends run.

I'd sell it. Personally, I attribute zero value to L.E. rulebooks because they'll be worthless in 4 years and contain the same rules that anyone can get hold of for free.

How for free? Borrow from friend and memorise it, of course.

Also, nobody would use the rulebag IRL, right?

I've bought black library le releases specifically for their resale potential. If you think you can get good money from selling it, do it. And please drop the guilt. It's not like you're sticking a gun in anyone's mouth or threatening their family.

I don't remember any stores closing over it, but yeah... that was a bad set. Maybe two cards in the entire set were worthwhile... even Homelands seemed like a rockstar by comparison.

Using the messenger bag is the reason I ordered the Gamer's Edition. (but I have no intention of attaching the bling if I don't have to.)

Well, it looks like the Boom may be petering out.
I've seen them going over $300. Now they are ending at $200.
I'm not regreting hanging on to mine.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I would wait six months then sell.

Remember to store it very carefully.

Mine went for $255. Had I known it would, I'd have bought 3 of them.

The day after mine closed people started posting them with no starting bids, or low bids. The price seems to have dropped to about $200 now. I'm using the money to finish my Red Hunters army.

Funny enough, PDF's of the BRB already exist which will allow me to learn the rules while I wait for a boxed set little rule book to have on hand.

I do like the purse, but I like models more.

Behind you

I know the guy who got the LAST limited edition collectors in australia (4000/4000) and me and my missus got the 3999th....

They'd be worth quite a bit more simply because of the numbering, but I am NOT selling it. I'd rather spend another hundred on a good looking book that also is durable and quite rare.

Its like buying a first edition book of dickens or something like that. You know you could get books that are cheaper.

When the Black Library put out the Dan Abnett chapbook (Iron Star, IIRC), I bought 6 copies @ retail.
I sold them for $60 to $95 each on feebay to the highest bidders.

Yeah. I'd sell the collector's edition. : )

I'd totally use that totebag. What's wrong with it?
