Still expanding my armies fluff but the short version
Angels of Khorne are a former adepta sororitas covenant that were traveling through the warp when their gellar field around the ship failed. They were attacked for days by daemons, pink and blue horrors and at first they held out but eventually they started to lose too many sisters and run low on ammo. Khorne began whispering to some of the sisters, promising them power to survive and defeat the daemons. Eventually they gave in and accepted the blood gods blessings. Unfortunately they went on a rampage and slaughtered everyone else on the ship. They eventually ended up crashing the ship into a daemon planet within the eye of terror. Barely larger then a small moon, the planet housed a contingent of iron warriors chaos marines. They were caught by surprise and slaughtered but to a man, a warpsmith. He had his bionics forcibly removed and installed on a former sister, kept alive and continuously tortured for his knowledge. The angels of khorne searched the outpost and found a large collection of tech, weaponry and bikes. They continuously launch raids on outposts of all kinds, both xenos and imperial, for supplies which they integrate into their own armoury. They recently acquired a dreadknight and once the pilot was removed, their warpsmith began modifications and rearmament for their own use. After a particularly successful and bloody raid, they leader was raised to daemon prince by Khorne. While most of their force is from the original corruption, they do take in a few new members now in again, mainly other sisters who show a thirst for battle equal to their own.

It's still a work in progress but my army is just a warband of Black Legion. The leader (Ya'Khul the Bearer) is a vet of the HH who through cunning and brutality rose to become a Lord of Chaos. Aligned with Abbadon and convinced that the Despoiler is the only Lord dedicated to continuing the Long War Ya'Khul has thrown in his lot with several Black Crusades. While the Legion is nominally undivided Ya'Khul sees merit in members of the Legion turning to mono-worship and as such various cult troops can be seen in his warband sporting Black Legion livery.

Looking at adding more to the story (as I said its very much work in progress). Wanting to write in some animosity against Space Wolves because personally I can't stand that chapter.

Also slightly offtopic but if SM sometimes follow Heretics why wouldn't they sometimes follow Xenos?
