No, it refers to the box with the limited Radagast miniature in it. Plans were to sell it out quickly and then sell the non-limited edition without Radagast, similar to the limited 40k starter box. Didn't quite work out that way though.

I hear soon you'll be able to get a super-duper limited edition copy that includes a limited edition copy of the Hobbit packed with a limited edition copy of Dreadfleet.

Better act now! Totes limited guys!

I've got two (unopened) copies of Dreadfleet these days. Hurrah for sale prices!

No, I don't expect to scalp one (fat bloody chance!), but at discount prices it seemed a nice set of figures and a passable game. I almost bought a bunch of scenery and a few more ships on eBay till I worked out it would have come to about $70, then realised I may as well pay a bit more for the whole set.

Dreadfleet has the best looking mat for naval games on the market (unless the battles get really large). We use it for Dystopian Wars regularly.

Yeah, that was a big selling point in getting the second set. Future-proofing for any huge naval battles I may want to play in the future.

You all remember these were limited originally, right?

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

The original boxed set was advertised as "limited", then the paints themselves were re-released a couple of months later as "direct-only" (As many of the other items in the current GW range are) items - not "limited" on re-release.
