Eldar since 1993.
At the time I was playing Warzone and was really getting to love tabletop wargames. I bought a set of 5 Eldar Rangers from a person who was leaving our FLGS to staff at GW. Been building that army ever since, and still have those nicely done Rangers.

The first army I currently have, is Dark Angels.
I chose them because Dark Vengeance had just come out, and figured I could get into them cheaply.
I had gotten into 40k alittle back in 3rd ed days, and was one of the first people in the area to play Tau.

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

Tough Tyrant Guard

Started as Tau in the beginning of 5th, but really wanted to do bugs. Only reason I didn't is that, back then, I was susceptible to peer pressure. Nidzilla was still a thing then, and everyone in my group had a big taboo against tyranids. In secret, I started a hive fleet, then about a week before the new dex rolled out I revealed them. No one would play with me that week. The next week they were superfine with it and exploited the heck out of the lack of punch in the list I had. Then 6th edition happened, and my reckoning has been oh so delicious. tyranid pun

I originally picked necrons in 2004 because I thought they were easy to paint and that because they didn't have many units to choose from it would be easy for a new player to form an army.
I was right, but I soon grew very bored with them and started a Tau army as well (been my main army since then).
