Good news everyone! We acquired a license to produce and distribute Dave Graffam Models maps. The popular Cobblestone Streets and Rake‘s Corner maps are now available as standard 4’ x 6’ (122cm x 183cm) size mats for your favorite miniature games. Just like all Dave’s work it features exquisite details and will look great in any fantasy or medieval battle scenes. Other sizes, optional hexes or grids may also be available as custom prints – just contact us for details.

We teamed up with Marc Gilbert from Dream Weaved Worlds to produce a new line of goods for your gaming tables. And as a result of our mutual cooperation we have a new release this week – a map tile set for miniature or RPG games. The set contains 12 different high quality tiles that depict a cavern system. That’s more than enough for countless possibilities to make a new environment for every encounter. But ‘countless’ is not a limit – we have more expansions coming soon. And we would really like to hear your thoughts and ideas to help us decide which set is going to be next.

Any chance you'll be making one similar to the below two, but with a grey tone? Kind of like a Lord of the Rings when they're approaching Mordor color
I feel like that could be quite popular, and would separate itself more from both of these. Bonus points for dark chasms and the like

I just wanted to post up my own quick review of Deep Cut Studios and their products.
In short I am very impressed by both.
After prevaricating over getting some mats for x-wing and other games I saw this thread and thought I would give DCS a go.
I ordered their City Ruins 6'x4' and custom 6'x4' Asteroid (no dinosaur bones) and 3'x3' Planets (with 3" border) themed mats. DCS were very helpful in our correspondence, fully responding to my (random? ) changes to their designs and producing just the mats I wanted. At £119 (inc. P&P) there was a premium for a customised mats but I still think they were good value for money.
All three arrived within about two weeks in their own separate card rolls and well packed out internally with extra plastic/bubble rap. So well packaged.
The PVC material is quite robust and should be tough enough for my general gaming needs. The mats are flat with little or no texture and the surface is clear with out being glossy.
Despite this however the Planet map had a slight scratch in it, not DCS's fault though as the package looked as if it had been subject to the villainous interference of UK customs! Nonetheless DCS kindly replaced this mat and a replacement was received a week later. So brilliant customer service chaps.
The Asteroid print is nice, no sign of dino bones and perfect for 40k or big x-wing games.
The City ruin map came with the DCS logo on one corner but its quite subtle and I only mention it for those that were concern about it. All the mats were really nice but I was particularly pleased by this one. I have a few pictures of a Necro game in progress, I think this mat really complements the games itself - note these were done for a club report so are not really focused on the mats but are a good indicator of the mats in context.
I thoroughly recommend Deep Cut Studios to anyone that's interested in a mat.

No problem mate. Credit where it's due, this is good product. As I say I'm really pleased with them. You may well get a few orders from my clubmates too.
Re delivery times, no criticism there either. All things considered (custom print, shipping from Lithuania etc) I was happy with the time taken. I'm old enough to remember pre-Internet times where anything less than 28days was fast!

It's quite easy - just fold it in the opposite direction, where the crease is. pretty much what you'd do with a sheet paper. Same applies for rolling - if the end of the mat lifts from the surface, just roll it in the opposite direction and it's smooth again.

These mats ship rolled now though, right, so it shouldn't be an issue for new orders? Copying the quote from earlier below:
DeepCutStudio wrote:Our recent (or not so recent) news are that all mats are shipped rolled in long tubes. Now they are ready to go right out of the box without additional bending, adjusting or other attention.

With great excitement we would like to share a teaser of the new upcoming gaming mat – Unicorn Fields. It’s still WIP, your thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Rabid ponies? Fluffy rabbits? Carnivorous butterflies? Remember - the mats are made by gamers for gamers. Your input counts a lot.

I got a mat recently from them and it came shipped like this...Thanks to that, I've got weird crumply creases on my mat that I'm finding hard to get out. Best part, somewhere, someone obviously received the package like this cause it's been stamped on the side that it was received in this condition.

P.S. It's not a good idea to iron the mats. That won't smoothen them and may damage them even more.

Just ordered two of the 6x4 city maps Should look great for our apoc campaign in May.
Just a thought, are the mats with cobble streets good for 15mm? If so have you thought about doing a 4x2 invasion beach map for it? Sort of like a D-Day invasion?

Oh, we were looking for the best way to make a beach mat for some time now. We will come up with something suitable for Flames of War and/or Dystopian Wars sooner or later. And the Cobblestone Streets are better used with 28-32mm scale. Unless you like wide streets. In the meantime we have another sneak preview:
Okay, here is another teaser from the upcoming release that will see the light of day much sooner than Unicorn Fields mat. It’s scheduled for the start of next week. It comes in sets. And it bears the name of Heroic Maps on it. Stay tuned!

That's just incredible! I don't currently play RPGs but might have to get one of these anyway... absolutely breath taking designs! Any chance of a "on the table" photo to see how the realism translates into the actual product?
Edit: Ah, they're a bit of odd sizes:
Set of 3 different maps
- Dimensions: 40"x38" (101,5 x 71 cm), 24"x35" (61 x 89 cm), 44"x35" (112 x 89 cm)
With the "Harbor of Thieves" mat being 40" x 40". It would've been nice for them to all have one dimension the same, and link together at a certain point, so that people could progress "through" the maps. The 24" x 35" is the on that stands out as a pretty odd size- what is the reason for that?

Two designs I would like to see:
1.) Generic dystopian city board full of rubble with no or maybe just one diagonal road. Makes placing houses on it easy.
2.) Mystic Elven/Eldar temple with organic beige forms and maybe strange bluegreen lights at some places, maybe some areas slightly overgrown.

I've received damaged packaging a couple of times. When this happens there tends to be a "received in this condition by Australia Post" sticker on them, so I'd assume that the stamper in your case would likely be SingPost, and the stamp states that the damage happened in transit before it got to them.
