There is not long left on this KS now, and if you follow the link on the first page you will see a lot of stretch goals have been broken just not updated in this thread.
Another point someone raised on the comments section of the KS is, if you go in for the 4 team option you get 4 free Union players, if you buy the Union captain as an add on you will then have a complete team for the cost of just one figure...well worth it

Yeah, only 24 minutes left.
I've ended up dropping out sadly. I've just bought way too many minis 'just to paint' over the years that I've never gotten round to doing.
However, I wish everyone the best with the game.

Due to the Canadian dollar being crap, I'm in at only 2 teams. Wish I could back 4 and do the captain model like Denilsta mentioned, I just can't afford it. I will however be picking up more teams if/when it hits retail.

I've checked in on this occasionally, and it's a bummer that they haven't put out an official KS update since doing a bunch in August, although they did make a facebook / website update in September saying they were still on track for December delivery.
The last KS update in August had this sweet image, though, so I am keeping an eye on this in a similar way to Arena Rex- low model count game with sweet sculpts, so it piques my interest. Just want to see if it's worth playing first, and the rulebook sounds like it's about to be or is currently printing.

Oh look, the alcohol-related bruiser faction happen to be the ones with jimmy hats and kilts, made by a company in London you say? Shocker.
Still, some of the models looks quite nice, I hadn't noticed this when it was running.

Interesting that this just popped up here - I happened upon an old bookmark to the GB KS page earlier today and I downloaded the rules to check out this weekend... It was a game I was interested in and followed through its campaign but ended up not backing for budgetary reasons. Looks like it's available for pre-order from various retailers by the end of the month - not a KS pledge, I know, but at least an alternative if you strike out on that.

Yeah, that's what prompted it for me, actually.
The KS prices are soooo much better than retail that I'd love to grab one.
Some significant regrets about not backing it.
Doh.

Just took a gander at the webstore on the GB website - holy ****, you're not kidding about the prices. They're listed for essentially double what they went for during the campaign... And now, after watching a couple of their videos and checking out a vassal play-by-play, I'm reeeaally regretting not scraping up the money to buy in originally.

Funny thing is, I'm getting 4 teams and some add-ons and the SG mercs, but after the sculpts were shown I'm getting not neccessarily what I WANT.
Butchers were my favourites but turned out bad and the Masons and Engineers terrific , but of course I have the Butchers coming (and Meathook). And retail Ox>>>KS exclusive Ox. My other teams (Fishes, Morts and Alchemists) are mostly good to great, with the Alchemists being way, way better than I expected, but some figures are disappointing, like Ghast. He looks so menacing standing still in his art, but his pose ended up as "hurr, I'm holding my saw in a weird way".
And the mercenaries, oh, the mercenaries. They turned out so good and I will get so few. But not Rage, who had the WORST art besides maybe Hemlock and might be my overall favourite Guild Ball mini now (Hemlock turned out great as well)! I took Gutter over him AFAIK, which turned out to be the only merc I DON'T like. Heh. I'm curious how Jynx is turning out, she was my most expensive add-on besides the big casket-carrying...Casket.
The joys of pledging for artwork, I guess. Lesson learned: When in doubt, always go for the guys with the frikkin baboon!
About the rules: Are you liking them? The original draft seemed pretty clunky and slow to play. I haven't kept up with them, besides hearing the chatter about sponges. I would really be pleasantly surprised if I get a game with fun rules and Sega Soccer Slam crazyness together with my minis! Rules for a crazy football game were what interested me in the first place!

Binabik, have you messaged them about changing your selections? I bet they would let you, most campaigns do if the sculpts change your mind about your preferences.

So below are photos of the Fisherman's Guild and the Butcher's Guild, and finally a scale comparison shot with a 40k, BMG, and Infinity model.
The casting on the models is absurdly clean. They are better cast than both the BMG and Infinity models I've dealt with recently, and remind me, if anything, very much like the high quality metals that Rackham used to produce. They're that clean.
The photos (from my iPhone, sorry!) may not show it completely, but the details are crisp and sharp and are going to really take to painting.
Assembly on them was incredibly easy; models are obvious in their assembly, and the joins are clean and fit well. I pinned Shark's arms, but probably didn't need to. I didn't pin Boiler at all, as he went together really, really well. The model cuts are logical and clean.
The other nice thing about the models is that nothing on the indicates that they're "sports" figures, so you could easily use them for other things. It's a great piece of design work, that they were able to do that.
Overall packaging of the models was really nice, and the included cards or of an expected professional quality, with clean art and font. I actually love the team packaging, as they remind me of books, and would look really great on a shelf next to one another. It's a shame that the cardboard boxes that come within them (think Infinity boxes) are a touch too large for the sleeve, because I'd love to keep them as my storage solution (I'd custom foam it). I may still try to find a way to keep the box art, because I think it's that good, and will look great on shelf.
Rules wise, my brother and I have screwed around with a 3 model game, and the game is clean, fun, and really well designed. The play system is clever and fun to use, and the rules are probably my favorite miniature "sports game" rules that I've encountered.
Overall, I'm really, really happy with these models. It's a project that I backed out of on KS at the last minute, and I regret it completely. Whenever S2 rolls around, I'm totally in.

IIRC, I opted for SOBS over this one due to cost (ah, to be independently wealthy)... These minis clearly blow their FFP counterparts out of the water, but SOBS has been a heck of a lot of fun to play, so I've looked it as a bit of a push. Now, though, with reports like cincy's (and the costly nature of buying-in post-KS), that minor regret about not backing is growing.

Here's a quick and nasty WIP. I'll post a better pic when the team is done. The minis are on the expensive side, but they are very clean. The style is uncluttered, almost blocky, which paints very well with bold colours.

I bloody love this game.
Picked up the morticians to start with, played a couple of games and liked them, although I wanted a more pure scoring side (I'm using Brokkr in my local dreadball league, they punch lots and score little) for a change. So I've picked up the fishermen, and the models are brilliant.
Will get a few games with them and report back, but hope this game goes from strength to strength, as the rules are quality.

It is great to finally see pictures of the miniatures. Honestly if there were more pictures, instead of art, it would go a long way. I thought about pre-ordering but have held off until I see what they look like as I don't know how closely they are sticking to concept art and how well it translates to the miniature.

Wait, where did you see that the resin versions release soon?
My whole gaming club just bought in in a group order! We've got everything represented except a pure Union player (but since they're mercenaries many of us will be running a few of them) and Engineers as their models aren't quite as good as the rest, I think.
Really looking forward to playing this! I don't think we could've waited for the resins anyway, this is going to be a summer league.
