Loving the repaints! Highlight for me is the whites on the dreads and that black marble on the emp champ sword.

On the dreads though, as awesome as all the gubbins are I feel the fire clashes with the vibe of the rest of the paint (paint wise, not theme wise). The whites are this grimy, perfectly highlighted gritty realism yet the fire on both the dreads is vibrant cartoony almost in appearance.

It should also be noted I'm too nub to provide advice on how to paint the fire better, it's well executed, it just stylisitically looks different to the whites, metals and rest of the dread.

Awesome work man, love seeing well done templars!

A Castellan and some Sword Brethren, finished way past due. All backpacks and arms are magnetized. I haven't painted in any scripture because I haven't the time just now, unfortunately.

Now I have to partake in some heresy and finish up a Tessaract Vault for a commission.

They look great! Very characterful. The only thing that really "bothers" me is the unpainted rims on the bases. They really distract my eye and I think they take away from the otherwise really cool models.

Oh, hehe. The rims will get painted brown like all the others. I do that right before varnishing (which these guys haven't been yet) because they're the most handled part of the model and I don't want it rubbing off before then.
