Yeah, I am going to have to model up a Librarian on a bike now. I've been thinking about it anyway, but I've held onto my Command Squad/Black Knights box because I couldn't decide what to build with them.

I can't remember where I read this death wing mantra, however:

- Concentrate your firepower.
- Assault on your terms.
- Believe in the God-Emperor.

3rd is the most important IMO!

DW tactics, I love the new reserve rules, lets me DS ALL DA TERMINATORS! Basically the most important rule to remember is this- DS together.

concentrate your force on one piece of the enemies force, annihilate it, then move on. Never focus on deathstars that you can't kill, kill the other elements. farsight bomb? DS away from it, and take down the pathfinders/suits/other supporting elements here. You aren't going to catch them in CC anyway.

IIRC dakka banner effects the storm bolters as it said all bolter weapons so try this.you can use RCS and bikes to your advantage here, they come stock with beacons so full deploy, then scout. Crush one flank and move on.

Totally agree. It makes a full terminator DW army not suck nearly as much IMO.

yes. deathwing are the scalpel to the green tide's sledgehammer. Pick your battles wisely and use your elite troops as elite troops (not just hurled into the fray) and they will do a solid job.

oh, I wish this was true. However, it's up for debate. it says they treat "boltguns" as salvo 2/4. Do they mean boltguns as just the regular rapid fire 24" bolters? If so are hurricane bolters and twin linked bolters counted as well? Or do they mean ALL bolt weapons to include things like vulcan mega bolters etc?

general consensus is that it only affects bolters, twin linked bolters, and hurricane bolters (because they're just 3 twin linked bolters). I think there was a FAQ for it at one point, but that's gone now.

Well I talked to my local players and they're OK with it so it worked out for me. Guess YMMV. It gives them the fireppwrr of a tac squad sooo lol

Storm bolters are not included.
