Dante isn't much of an investment, in the sense that you're getting the rerolls as a side dish to his combat prowess and squad buffs. And i usually kit 1 raven with multi melta and las, and the other with melta and asscan, both with hurricane bolters. Does a number on most vehicles and shreds light/medium infantry.

Actually I find that it fails against most vehicles now. And doesn't have enough shots to shred anything. Hurricane bolters are S4, and make the thing even more expensive. It's just really hard for me to get excited about the way it works.

Eh, I can see where you're coming from, but have still had a lot of luck with mine, particularly in a meta rife with razorbacks, bikes of all kinds, and various av10-11 transports. Granted, they usually follow the rule of 2, where one will get shot down early for whatever reason and the other will survive the whole game.
