So it has been a while but I’m back at it, working to get this beast painted up before AdeptiCon. So here are the updated pictures so far. (Sorry if they show up the wrong way I will fix them)

Added in some edge highlighting and did some of the ultramarine blue for the stolen rhino side

The backside is a little empty tho. Could use some worky bitz. Also you seem to be missing about half a million rivets on that thing

A Pair of big shoota sponsons next to the driver would also make the Cockpit less empty

I agree the back looks a little plain, I’m working on some stuff to add to help. As far as the rivits go, yea I know I’m missing a lot but that would be so many tiny cuts of round plastic. I may just take my paint brush and make a bunch of silver dots for rivits. Will need to do a test panel to see. Finally it could always use more dakka!

Did some work painting some details and the start of the rusting on the legs. Just some updates to show I have not stopped working on it so it can be ready for Adeptacon.

Thanks, it’s been fun painting (even though I’m a very slow painter) was in an Apoc game recently and was able to play it. Best feeling when someone comes up saying what in mork and gork is that!

And so starts the rusting, still a bit new to rusting things so it’s a learn as I go, so far I like how it’s turning out. Going to watch a few videos on rust and gravity to see if I can get the top to look even better. CC always welcome.

First layer of rust on the whole thing done, hopping to do the second one tonight.

Thank you, it has definitely been interesting getting painted up. Still a lot of work to do but I hope to have it at a point that I’m happy when I go to Adeptacon.

Thanks, Im going to the base in Martian Ironearth, Figured the orange would match and look better under the cracks than the black base. Still need to do the exhaust as well as all of the detail but its nice to look back at the start to how it looks now.

As for rivets there's a Spanish company called Green Stuff World that has a greenstuff mould for making rivets (and one for gun shells) of different sizes. You can even use cheaper clay as long as it won't face any wear and tear. It's really easy to use. You can make 30-ish rivets over night by simply pressing clay into the mould. It would solve the problem with the back side, that looks a little flat compared to the rest of the body.

Take it as constructive criticism though. The model will be awesome either way, but for such a magnificent beast of war the rivets would really do the trick!

Thanks I will look into that, Im going to continue this beast after AdeptiCon so I will probably look into adding them in then, I still need to add the Ultramarine Decal to the Rhino as well as the two back plates of the rhino that are on the foot.

Im not sure to be honest.It was with some bits I had and seemed to fit the part.

Final Update for now, the Titan I brought to adepticon. Going to work on my IronJawz for nova open then space wolves. I’ll be bouncing back to this guy now and then as he still needs a lot more work but I’m happy for now. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer.
