Not quite. I did a drawing with a fine permanent marker but I am sure that a printer will work as well.

Nice! I need to look for a place that sells then.

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
In fact I am here again! It took me some time but I am putting a lot of effort in it. The blue marker is just to highlight some clear plastic contours.
The minigun is finished. I will fatten the arm next and then I will do the other arm, but I still need to make some design.
C&C welcome!

Yay, thank you!
On the front end of the white plastic rod there is a ring that will be attached to a chain that will go to the shoulder pad. It will work as a support when firing.

Hi, new update!
I reshaped the arm. I reduced the total bulk and also increased the fat percentage. The aim is to make an arm somewhat similar to an ogre's arm.
You can also see tha I added some plaques to the tip of his boots. I drilled a hole in each plaque and in the feet, then I pinned the plaques to the boots using iron wire. Finally I cut off the exceeding part of the iron wire so that I also achieved a rivet look.

Finally I ask you an advice. I want to make the shoulder pads from a bent sheet of plasticard. How do I bend it? Hot water? Flame? Do you have any experience?

It's been a while since my last post but in the meantime I also had the chance to advance on the fat ork project.
My intention was to stop a little bit before making the ork too much over-the-top in term of bulkiness and chunkiness. I'm afraid I failed! The whole came out so large and with plenty of stuff upon it that I continuously had to modify the initial design in order to keep it "readable", which I'm not sure I managed to achieve.
In the picture you can see that some parts are just attached with tack, but apart from that the sculpting is at 95% of progress. Since I took the pictures yesterday I already retouched the tabbard and still have to retouch the backpack, put a couple of wires on the bionic arm (where biceps are supposed to be) and on the choppa.

The most important part that I have to finish is the grot! I am convinced that it can add something to the character of the miniature. I want it to enhance the concept of the fat ork overburdened with weapons but I'm not sure about how. Granted that I don't want to resculpt more than a hat and maybe the right arm, my ideas so far are:
1. replace the stick with a meat cleaver (hinting at why the ork is so fat) or put it hanging like a cross body bag.
2. reshaping the right arm so that it carries a missile (like the clear plastic one on the machinegun).
3. replacing the stick with a revolver (but I'd have to scratchbuild it, not sure about the result).
4. resculpting the right arm so that it points forward and glueing the head towards the ork, to make them in relation, as if the grot is giving (or pretending to give) orders.
5. sculpting a WWII style helmet? Or another warmonger hat?
6. Whatever.

I'm particularly interested in your whatever and of course comments, questions and critics are welcome as always!

That fat ork is a certainly looking like a good start.

Just because fat not mean can,t fight.
Maybe the ork uses extra weight to hit harder @nd throw self into fights.

Might be fun to have the fat ork with like a large barrel of squig alw on base or carried by a grot.

I think you should base him on Winston Churchill. And the catchphrase should be an orkified Winston quote.
He just looks like an old Winston to me, maybe its the cigar... or the bulky frame. I say forget the bandana and give him a top hat!

Squigs on the base could be an option, I will think about it.

Very good the idea of Churchill but probably it is too far to give him a definite Churchill look. A coat and smaller weapons would have been better.

For this one...

The Cigar, and tommy hun would make a iconic ork!
Plus Churchill has a persitence level to make Yarrick take notice s

Big green thumbs up from me, this is the kind of sculpting I wish I was able to do myself, really looking forward to seeing this with some paint on! Kudos!

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement!
Talking about Churchill made me think that the one with the coat could be the grot. And a hat like the colonnel of Rambo. Let's see how this turns out, meanwhile thanks for the inspiration.

I finally finished the sculpting!
The suggestion of Churchill influenced me for the grot. The other inspiration for it was the colonel of Rambo (the ork being Rambo).
I am kinda happy with the single parts of the model but not so with the general composition of the ork. Too late for changes now but I hope it's not too bad.
Now it's time for the base and the painting. Thank you for your help so far.

Hi guys!
Here is the finished ork (still to be mounted). I'm working on the base now. I'd like to add a label with written "The biggest boys bring the biggest toys", as suggested by Zmoney716 but I need a orkish spelling. how do I orkify this sentence?

Nice. I want to make my warboss quite stout when I do a new mini for him at some point. To reflect his success. I think he should believe that fulfillment comes from being as high on the food chain as possible and refuse to eat vegetarians. Something about that for a slogan.

The idea of the food chain is straight and simple, I like it. Does it include cannibaliing other orks?

Could you make a mini guide on making a trench coat and sticking it to the model (like the one you made for the Grot Corporal)?

Sorry I didn't see your post!
I simply prepared a thin rectangle of green stuff and folded it around the grot. Then I added the sleeves, the belt and the collar.
I will probably make a coat for another model soon; I will make step by step photos and post it in this forum .
