Pew Pew!

You know you built that with the Razorback hatch, right? Somehow it works and looks pretty cool

Yup, it's my only Rhino atm and I couldn't stand putting the regular hatch on what may be my only baby

Don't look at me like that!

Lol

or I'll just call it a Razorback so all the purists can be happy

Personally I think you should take an exacto blade to it, glue on some bits and more dakka to make it a PROPPA trukk!

Bravo! Another SM tank converter! I love tinkering with them. The one I haven't finished yet needs some TLC, the poor marine gunner has huge holes in his chest but no blood.

Tanks are way more fun when there are stories with them.

Pew pew! Enemy toddler incoming, drive, drive! Otherwise he'll ...... ~SLOBBER~SNAP~THUD~.... Man down......

......

...... ahem. Yeah. Parenthood is only tolerable if you daydream, browse Dakka and pretend your children need to be fought off with tanks. (Please note, for all those people without children, the majority of people reading that last sentence probably just smiled and thought/said "pretend! They DO need to be fought off with tanks")

Sometimes I feel like I need an Infinity Gauntlet for my 5 year old, tanks won't do it

Guildy you thinking of any other modifications to this tank? Battle damage, weathering, scenic basing?

yall be grateful! toddlers are CUTE... I have teenagers now... ugh lol Pros: they can play with me Cons: they tend to not understand the value of money and not in a cute way like toddlers!

Still there's always grandkids, but hopefully not too soon lol

I'm very tempted to make this a trukk - got orks on the brain now! Was going by one of our major streets and yet another military truck for sale by the wafflehouse (they all park them there...) Anyway, I could see welding some plates on that bad boy... Funny because my kids got home after being out with dad and were like, "mom! we saw your truck!" lol cuz they all know I love big trucks

Anyway, overall plan for the rhino at this stage is as a kinda prop for my luna wolves diorama/base. I'll probably magnetise it so it'll come off easily, or just set it on the base, but I want it to look eventually like it's come in, landed some troops, and is fixing to take off. Idea eventually is to get all my guys weathered up and put on a diorama base like they just landed on Isstvan III. Smaller than a normal game board of course, something I'll be able to hopefully store and if I do end up getting time to take up 30k, use.

I'm going to do a bit of damage on the rhino, since I already marred it a bit, I'm not as worried now. But most of the weathering will be done after I think. I want to do the whole army at the same time so it's more consistent.

lol, no not so much... Slightly disappointed they have 3 eyes, but they're in a triad pattern if I'm looking at them correctly, so even though it'd look awesome I'm probably not going to paint them with cylon eyes sadly lol

Ordered my son a unit of Flayed Ones for his birthday as well, as he asked for them. That and the necron start collecting box should be here soon

I can't bring myself to pay the money for Flayed Ones, but they are cool. I'm trying to work out if I can mod some Warriors with some GS work. A bit of GS skin and BFTBG and it could be a far more cost-effective way of doing it. The GW sculpts are beautiful though and I am very jealous.

I really really really suck at GS :( but you'd think it'd be fairly easy to do what your describing, or maybe swap out some bits for zombie bits? hmm it's a thought

I got some work done on my Luna Wolves Rhino, trying to go a bit slow so I can do some weathering as I go:

also got a very little work done on my rats

That Rhino looks great. I would not be able to pull off such a rich pale grey. Keep it up.

thanks guys!

That grey is 7 layers ugh. I'm never doing a light colour again lol well probably. Anyway I still like it better than white or even an off white scheme.

Got some more progress done today on my first non sick day this week:

So good bit of clean up yet to do, tidy up some of the highlighting, like on the wolf icon. And other areas where it was hard to see. Also found a few spots I'd plain missed. And the gunner/driver dude are still pretty much sitting in just their primer coat yet. Otherwise he's coming along well I think! I added a few of brass etching bits, still working out how to paint some of them.

thanks! Did a bit more work on the rhino today, got most of the crew done, just need to do touchups, edge highlight etc and I think he'll be good!

took a bit of a break and finished off a model I really want to throw in my Gremlin crew, Burt Jensen. Plus, he's a really cool, fun model anyway:

Don't you mean....BURT JEBSEN!!!!!!

MVP of the year in Malifaux! I annoy the other gamers in my LGS by yelling BURT JEBSEN!!!! every time he does work, because he does work! Burt Jebsen is my 'Never leave at home' Gremlin.

lol yeah I'm prolly getting Wong's box and Merris next. Still need to paint my pigapult and piglets!

I think Gremlins' 'motto' is Leeroy Jeeeeeeeenkins! Burt fits very well lmao

I have been thinking, I'm going to improve his base, since I put him on a very basic one only atm - I'm going to add all the discarded shells I can, and maybe some 'live' ammo - wish I could sculpt! I'd love to give him a bandolier of shells (especially since that gun apparently doesn't really have a way of loading!)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
This is what I came up with, to try to make a Loken for my Luna Wolves. He's made out of the named character dude from the BaC box, and spare parts from it as well. Most of the conversion was removing the head, making room for the replacement, giving him a sword instead of his whatever it was, and a bolter in his opposite hand, also instead of the previous weapon.

I'm not currently thrilled with the neck, but not sure what to do about it. I took off this big grill/cover part that would have covered up the facial features, but also hid where the neck joined into the model. So, yeah, dunno.

Thanks TP^DC! I'm fairly excited, hoping to start an actual board up - only had it planned over a year now <rolls eyes>

Got my kits built, tho I've not taken a picture of the skull tower thingy as it's buried on my desk atm (cuz I got bored waiting for the terrain pieces to dry and started building an ork trukk:

I really have model ADHD):

And I did a bit of work on my Loken conversion - added a collar to hide the neck join. It may not be fluffy at all, but it's about the extent of my GS skills, and hopefully will look good when painted.
