@Captain Brown - Yeah, it makes for a pretty cool piece. The altar should look good too, if it plays out how I see it in my mind.

@evildrcheese - I'm not a fan of the silver leg, so I've skipped that (as you can see below).

@CommissarKhaine - Got me hooked, CK? It never let me go!

Managed to finish off a couple of figures this week.

Imperial Assault C-3PO

Smoothed out the gold, painted the eyes (Aluminium with the yellow Shade over the top, also picked out some of the wires around his waist with red, blue & grey).

Oathsworn Miniatures Hare Warrior

I'd had this guy sat around mostly done for a while. Whilst in my local GW at the weekend, I spotted a brown (Baneblade Brown) which looked like it'd be spot on for the fur. A couple of coats of that, followed by an Agrax wash (or two, in the recesses), and he was prety much done.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Both models look great, but I've a particular fondness for the C-3PO.

Nice job on both. The hare in particular looks great.

I know that feeling . I liker that I can actually find people to play with, thanks to the rerelease . I like that battle-hare, looking good!

Lovely metallics! Nailed that C-3P0.

The anthropomorphic stuff is great too. That Hare looks pretty mean.

Keep it up

@Warboss_Waaazag - Thanks Warboss. I was quite happy with how the eyes turned out. Just need to figure out the white for the other half of the duo next.

@Captain Brown - Amazing how much different a couple of tufts can make, isn't it?

@evildrcheese - Thanks, Doc. Got a female Hare to paint up, too.

@CommissarKhaine - Yeah, I've been involved with leagues outside of an LGS environment, and they tend to fall apart. On the other hand, the alternative means actually going to the LGS to play, so...

@ckig - Well, Herr Knight is fighting to depend those he cares for. Given the lack of an eye, we can guess this isn't his first time at the rodeo, either.

Thanks to the Bank holiday in the UK, I've managed to make some more progress, and polish off Grim Ironjaw:

In theory, his base isn't completely finished yet, but that is mostly because I haven't decided how I'm basing any Blood Bowl figures. Off the top of my head, he also marks the first Blood Bowl figure I've actually finished painting - odd, when you consider I own 3 or 4 Dwarf teams alone at this point.

In other news, I also finished another review on my blog - this time, looking at my Kickstarter rewards from the Oathsworn Miniatures New Blood Kickstarter for Burrows & Badgers, which ran for a mere 24 hours. I'm hoping to get some of the figures from that on the painting desk, though probably not until after UK Games Expo.

We have a true FLGS, so playing there really isn't an issue, which helps . I like Ironjaw, looking suitably frenzied . Some amazing detail on his face!
