Honestly that picture is pretty much a heavy metal album cover. A lot of the art in AOS is like that in my opinion.

I read someone on the internet that described Warhammer as "80's heavy metal album cover: The Wargame"

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

That fire cannon art is awesome.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

I like that last image, just some Duardin going about their day, smoking and carrying barrels as one does. Sometimes I feel like these images of the various races just living and not fighting does more to flesh out the world then another pic of dudes swinging at each other.

I prefer such images over another heroic "last stand". I`m still looking and waiting for more stories and ilustrations describing "normal life" in AoS setting. One of the artwork show some kind of dead, flying whale - i`m eager to read more about this
