The dropbox link for the card box for the destruction grand alliance core set has an error.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Destruction link fixed. Thanks for the hint.

While the Realm of Battle cards wait for cool artwork to put on the back, here's a quick update to incorporate the Forgeworld armies:

Tamurkhan's Horde (FW Compendium 2018)
This is an expansion to the Maggotkin of Nurgle set! See the FW compendium for details.

Sooo, I just have to hit print on the Din A4 file after selecting double sided printing, right? And one sided for the box.

Really awesome of you to do all this!

I'll try and do some warscroll cards in the style of the ones included in the new starter, any tips on that?

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

These cards are great! I actually like the smaller size cards in conjunction with GW’s big warscroll cards, so you can have a stat sheet with all the spells and relics right there on top of it.

I printed out a set for my Sylvaneth army and put them in plastic sleeves with old magic the gathering land cards in the back.
Spoiler:

Naturally I only used forests.

Glad you like them!

I also use them in conjuction with warscroll cards, I basically only use my books for list building and then take all the cards I need for the game

As AoS 2.0 had a change of art direction, I was thinking about how I could change up the layout and design of the cards to better fit into this new age.
I think the card backsides with the battletome covers are fine, so I left that alone.
I took some elements from the Core Book and took inspiration from the 40k datacards.

So here is the first draft:

Before:

After:

Thoughts?

I like both, but can see why you want to match the current style.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I showed them around to my fellow club members this weekend (10 year anniversary - yay!) and also got very positive feedback.

I changed up some things again, and I'm pretty happy with it now.

I will rework all cards in this new stlye. It's honestly "just" copy pasting the already formatted text from the old cards and adding the fluff lines.
It's a bit of work, sure, but I think it's very managable.

You can already download the updated Nighthaunt cards. I'm still working to get the card box to match.
Keep an eye on the excel file which ones are updated (version 4.00.00), I'm not gonna make a post for every faction.

you're doing Sigmar's work my friend. I would pay $20 for each of these packs if GW did them.

So I promised I would re-do the Summoning trackers, and what better time then now with a new layout.

So here's the first mockup for the general functionality: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oa6gg2b0rseptv2/Drehscheiben.pdf?dl=1

Fix them together with a rivet, a spare X-Wing dial rivet or these clips (no idea how they are called, we use them in Germany for cheap delivery (no glue, post office needs to be able to open the envelopes):

Hi Hanskrampf, these cards and the updates you have done are just brilliant. Thank you so much for putting the time into this. I played my second game of AoS this weekend and really missed having cards for these references, so was thrilled to find these. I am a Creative Cloud user so I appreciate the work that must have gone into setting these up.

I found that the link for Nighthaunt print version is giving a Dropbox 404 error. Other Nighthaunt files are fine.

Do you have any recommendations for weight/thickness of card stock that gives the best results? Also, do you have any recommendations for getting the cards cut out - perhaps at a professional printers or similar?

Thanks again!

I print it with a colour laser/LED on 200g cardstock.
That's the heaviest paper I can jam into my office printers without jamming the duplex unit all the time.
I have to reduce the heat though, as the printer doesn't let me print duplex (and the manual duplex is horribly misaligned) otherwise.
Therefore, the quality suffers a bit, and 200g is a bit lightweight, but I can live with it.

If you have an inkjet printer, I recommend using special Inkjet cardstock. Even the cheapest ones let you use much thicker cardstock than any laser/LED. The quality will be much better, though make sure that the sides align correctly on cheap paper beforehand.
Though much more expensive (due to the Inkjet cardstock), this is also my plan for the future.

There is also always the possibility of a local copy shop with nice cardstock or an online print service that offers either individual cards (63 x 88 mm is one of the default card sizes) or a loose leaf service with cardstock.

The best option for cutting would be either a guillotine or rotary cutter:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_12/257-4153874-9161468?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=paper+cutter&sprefix=paper+cutter%2Caps%2C161&crid=66APZ367AUTO

Make sure the first side is lined up straight to the blade and then always use the previous cut side for alignment against the metal side thing to the left.

For rounded corners, there is a wide array of corner punches with all kinds of diametres:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=corner+punch&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Acorner+punch

I use a Japanese one with 3-in-1 (3/5/8 mm), but I think 3 mm looks the best.
Not on Amazon UK

Those are some great recommendations, thank you. I spent a bit of time looking around today and there are various print companies offering to print custom cards in a range of sizes, including the ever popular 63 x 88 mm.

For example, there's this one in the US: https://www.makeplayingcards.com/design/custom-blank-card.html
Or this one in the UK: https://www.ivorygraphics.co.uk/custom-cards

Obviously printing and cutting at home is the cheaper option, but I am tempted to get a set done via a print company, just to save the time.

Thanks for the updated link too, I will go and test that now.

Glad I could help.

Let me know if you go the printing service route and if you need the cards with bleed but without cutting marks.
I'm happy to provide it for you.

Quick update:
Converting over to the new layout version is nearly done.
6 factions are still missing, because these are the ones with some kind of points system to keep track of (Seraphon, 4 Chaos Gods, Skryre)

Sorry for the long pause.

Dials are on a good way now, Seraphon is uploaded, the rest of the 'Tracker Dial' armies should follow until the end of the week.

Great work, like to say thank you for the time and effort you put into this.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Hello friend, firstly sorry for the necro of a thread. Anyways oh great and mighty @Hanskrampf, is there any possibility you could release a set of cards for the new Beasts of Chaos battletome that released? I've become so dependent on how helpful all of these cards are for playing armies, you really do a good job of everything and they all make amazing reference cards. Hope to hear back!

Hey.
Always happy if people are using and liking my cards
I was slacking with the cards the last few weeks, there are still old layouts, too.
Check back in a few days and I should have BoC cards up.
