Psychic phase actually.

I play pure thousand sons (so no Tzeentch daemons) and while I immensely enjoy the psychic phase, I recognize that it's a tedious pha rt of the game for most of my opponents since most of the time A) the phase tales a rather long time and B) I've got more dice than my opponent can deal with.

New psychic phase looks quick and snappy as a whole and I'm excited to see how full-psyker armies will fare.

You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness.

Yes this is a big one for me!
Hopefully the starter set gets separate release multi-part plastic a little while after 8th comes out, so I can just get the terminators (and rumored plastic blight drones if they are a real thing)

Edit: Only because of the size increase of the normal plague marines won't match my current army.

Vehicles using the same rules as everything else. I can finally do the feral Ork Squiggoth Rider army I've always wanted without it feeling forced. Hannabal B-ork-a is crossing the alps!

For me the most exciting implication is that balanced armies with mechanized infantry and a sprinkling of supporting units might actually be viable again.

7th edition was starting to lose its appeal to me as players spammed ridiculous deathstars or detachments/formations with massive bonuses (500-ish points of free transports anyone?).

I stand between the darkness and the light. Between the candle and the star.

I quit awhile ago due to 7th Ed. I'm hoping this new edition, with actual balancing, might be worth returning for.

Still skeptically optimistic of GW

Pretty much all of it, even the things I didn't like at first (unlimited overwatch, random charge distances) make a lot more sense the more we're seeing of the rules.

For my marine armies: Terminators and Land Raiders seemingly much improved. Third place: more potent Razorbacks!

For my eldar: twin-linking on wave serpents and the promise of a viable wraith army. Third place: Phoenix Lords!

For my chaos armies: Land Raider and Terminators as above and universal split-fire!

For my orks: assaulting from Battleagons and the hope that Kans and Dreads will be as awesome as they should be!

Overall: The total mechanics reboot. It was a huge change when they did it with 3rd, and I am really looking forward to it now.

More 40k armies than 40k time ...

The fact that the faction focuses seem to be getting meatier with each one that comes out and my faction hasn't had their turn yet.

Gimme gimme gimme...

I am most excited about the online rules and updating points cost online web page.

No more undercosted wraith knight!

In the Grimdark future of DerpHammer40k, there are only dank memes!

A complete rework at the same time and letting us know there has been thorough playtesting. This excites me the most.

Also looking forward to ploughing the codexes and finding that one army to receive love in 8th. (Ragequitted on my orks, so I sorta hope it won't be them).

Marines, t'au, admech, nids, so many possibilities.

With love from Denmark
