Nice work on the paint - and the speed. They're really coming together!

I love the effort you're putting into the bases. Looks like it takes a while, but really pays off. Much nicer than some flock and a plain black rim!

I'd love to see them on a table. The paintjobs and relative speed are superb, and I agree with tzurk - the bases are very well done. I sometimes struggle with finding a proper balance of the base versus the model, but I mostly play elves which are slightly built. Your bulky wolves take to ornate bases well, and you're definitely exploiting that to your advantage.

Thank you both of you! Basing is one of my favourite parts in the whole process! Roughly the stages how I do these:
1. One layer of cork sheet.
2. Put down spackle (same you use to fix holes in concrete walls) to create good looking ground, and attach a piece from 'concrete basing kit'. Let it be over night. The spackle works as clue for the basing kit, and at the same down brings some weight to the base (my models wont fall down easily).
3. Use GW Texture paints to add texture, Astrogranite or mud one. Or both.
4. Clue down bits of cork to add rocky feeling.
5. Then onto painting.
5.1. Base coat with Skavenblight Dinge, and then drybrush with Ulthuan Grey.
5.2. Base color for concrete, Dawn Stone color.
5.3. Add green areas to non-rock spots.
5.3.1. With watery balor brown, dab some different tones into green.
5.4. Wash with black and seraphim sepia, avoiding top of the concrete.
5.5. Glaze concrete pieces with Ulthuan Grey. Two times.
6. Flock with three different products.
7. Black rim and then attach model.
8. Clue down colorful 'sponges'

I will be taking these guys to a local competetive tourney mid-January, and then again late February. Just have to keep painting painting... Getting close to mid-point with my 2000points list.

Been busy after getting back home! Worked on scouts who still are WIPs, but coming out with a good pace! Working on the yellow, and fatigues to be done. But blue armor is set!

Posting quickly here, but Bjorn also assembled to good stage, and painting has begun! Only first coat of blue though. As you can see, custom legs to keep up with the personal taste of my force.

Been busy painting and assembling! Bit of a mass update, where Bjorn is still WIP but slowly coming together as I do other stuff. Blue is still unfinished, I want to push it bit lighter from here. Also darker tones turned out slightly bad...

Two unit of scouts finished and ready for basing! Will be basing lot of models at one go, so they are put aside for that. Behind them you see already assembled and basecoated Rhinos. And last image contains the only large tank planned for now; assembled Land Raider Crusader. Not often you see those in the 8th edition... Considering doing some intricate details.

Next up in line; paint scouts with snipers and unit of terminators. Then base all of them + previous scouts in huge production line...
