You should probably chill out and try to meet actual people instead of people on the internet. Or if your problem is with people you actually know; move somewhere else. Because frankly you are gaking on 350 + million people and I feel like you should increase your sample size.

Honestly though the Trump administration has been good for America in a lot of ways, as it's forced some of the federal governments powers to be reigned in. Also it's great to watch our checks and balances at work like never before.

As far as patriotism and nationalism go since that's the original topic. Well I'm not sure where I actually fall on that spectrum.

I have a general love and care for my fellow man so I generally focus my attentions to the local levels because ultimately I have more impact there. The county government where I live has more say over my day to day then the Federal and that's just the way it works. I also have more say and impact on that local government. America for the most part has a very bottom up government and most people even most Americans I think fail to realize this. Instead we focus on the circus that occurs every 4 years and squabble over two parties who share little differences. Seriously look up Bush's policies than look up Obama's they are more similar than most people realize.

At the end of the day though the ideals that America stands for, Freedom, Equality, and giant eagles are more important than the any of the many governing bodies that exist in this country.
