15mm wargaming has been around for quite awhile. The Miniatures Page should have a Medieval subforum. If you can't find it, drop me a PM!

Frex, Someone on BGG recommended Demonworld, although it's OOP. RPG.net has a review.

Of course, you can always play various 28mm medieval battle games using these figures.

you can get the Demonworld rules from RPE along with the minis (http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/demonworld-15mm-c-76/demonworld-classic-c-76_151/rules-and-army-books-c-76_151_82/pdf-downloads-c-76_151_82_83/demonworld-rulebook-pdf-p-2178.html)

but back on topic that dragon is looking tempting, too bad I've blown all my fun money on Deathguard for the moment

Is i just me or do the Pentinents remind anyone else of Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill franchise?

Crazy shaped head, oversized sword, butcher's apron...

Maybe it's just me.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Considering that's the whole point of Pyramid Head... and its historically sound... i'd say its a safe bet. ;-)

*** Calling RiTides. RiTides, can you hear me? ***

Yea, this is awesome. I was just blathering with RiTides about how great 15 mm gaming is for mass battles. Cheap armies, lots of room to maneuver on a normal sized board, etc. And here we are...

Glad this is going on for another month or so. I will need to time to stockpile cash.

15mm is honestly my favorite scale, simply for the number of minis you can fit on a table, as well as the breadth of possibilities it offers (look how big that dragon is... seriously...). This game was kind of on my "eh, maybe" list for a while, but the more addons they post and stretch goals get broken, the more it shifts into my "definitely pledging" list.

Received!

Thanks for the poke, Wehr! What had kept me out of 15mm previously was the need for new terrain, kind of inconsistent sculpt ranges, and no game system I was sure I wanted to try in it. This seems to address all of that! My only concern is if it's a little too good to be true, but with the funding they're getting hopefully economies of scale helps them pull it off well

So, I'm totally in!

The stretch goal freebie for hitting $666,000 has been revealed and given that figure it's probably no surprise that it's a humongous mini of the beast from Revelation. Apparently it stands bigger than the Atlas mini they gave away as the $1 million SG in Mythic Battles. The campaign is a touch under $35k from adding this to every core pledge.

No, you want to give in. The devil is calling out to you. He costs only 30 bucks...
And look at all the free stuff you are getting!

The other stretch goal revealed today is a new mission and tileset to go with the other recent Kickstarter exclusives to create an expansion.

The beast is 180mm to the top of its wings, and 120mm to the top of its heads. So not quite as tall as the Devil, but still pretty hefty.

It's a shame the terrain tiles look so dark, bland, and computer generated. They're really the only let-down in the campaign. I'll probably wind up having to make my own.

I just couldn’t resist this project but I feel the same. Already figured I’d make my own and as the terrain tiles are not a major reason I pledged I’m not too worried about it.

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

That's a good point... maybe there's time to update them though? Definitely worth posting that feedback in the comments!

Due to complaints they have scrapped that original sculpt of the beast and already have a sketch of the new design -

I have to say that whilst this may be more aesthetically pleasing (but more generic) I did like the medieval style of the original model.

New one looks way better, and man, I love companies that respond to feedback!

Maybe they'll address the tile art if enough folks feel the same way

Thank goodness for the new one, it's far better than the first attempt.

The first one is hard to look at and not think of a chicken with a bunch of flaccid dick-heads

Oooouch....

I play...

Sigh.

The old one looked like a bear with a scarf made of other bears... didn’t really get it. New one looks boring though which is probably worse.

Just seen this, the details are very impressive for 15mm scale!

Really shouldn't be spending so much money but I am so tempted. Just have to convince my gaming group that it's a good idea!

I totally shouldn't, but I'm totally gonna. This pushes a lot of my buttons.

Anyways, I thought I pledged, but possibly it didn't go through. I assume you get an email when you have officially pledged, correct? I'd hate to do it twice and have it count twice.
