I missed the discussion thread at the time of the movie. I thought it was....decent. The problem I had with it was that Scott was just portrayed as a bit too thoughtless to be really likeable, messing up the lives of the Pym's, apologising and then immediately making things even worse. But the comedy and action scenes were on point (even the gimmick used for telling the credits got a laugh), and I don't regret watching it. And I guessed it was coming, but that sting in the extra scene was still effective.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

still of the opinion that the current MCU phase peaked one movie early with Ragnorok, IW was fine but a bit jumbly

Ant-man & the Wasp seems to have that Solo vibe, a perfectly fine 3 star caper that wasn't really needed but its good it happened

I think it's plot will ultimately be vital to Avengers 4 next year AND it was tonally necessary after IW.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
