Sounds like a good plan. How old is he?
I doubt you'll get a proper game til 11-12 years old depending on aptitude but there's no harm in starting them early.

He is 7, It was fun. 5 models each some dice rolling, getting an idea about how it all works. It was just nice to share some hobby time with him.

RagingHeroes also does some cool JAILBIRDS, not sure if the scale is the same as your gals, and they're a bit pricey, but there's some nice models
