Thanks Platuan4th I’ll have a couple of practice runs with the rune stones before I start putting them on. It’ll start to really look good when I put formations together with Serpents and Guardians.
Thanks Shadenuat I’ll pick up some ultra fine sand paper next time I’m out, it’ll help smooth out the line between the black and red when removing the masking tape aswell

That’s Two out of the Three Prism’s complete with the Third not far behind they will look good together in a squad, i did originally use a few more transfers but felt that it started over powering the colour of the models so removed some of the warning symbols to where they are now which I think looks good.

On a side note I had a delay... I don’t know if you guys have ever come across this issue, I put on the transfers and put the model to the side before leaving to grab a cup of tea. On returning... no transfers, after searching and doubting myself as to wether ide applied transfers at all it turns out my cat had decided he liked transfers and licked them off! ide never even thought that would ever be an issue, after a thorough check the cat is perfectly fine and under observation, the cat is kept out of that room now.

Great work in quick time. Red ones do really go faster!

Simple but effective. You noted that you would do some more details later. I would also recommend adding a few distinct markings on each for variety. Even if it's just one of the wing or turret panels in a different colour to differentiate them in the table.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I think the latest codex has a blurb on Eldar numbers, (just checked, page 12) so something as simple as hull/squadron numbers should be doable.

Yeh Flinty that’s a good shout cheers, Thanks Nevelon well spotted. I’ll have a look at the transfers tomorrow and see what I can put together, it’ll have to be the same with the Vypers aswell. I’m going to be working on adding Gem Stone’s Later as I go to add some more detail to the models.

With the time now here to start on the Farseer Skyrunner I may take a short break as Three days solid on the Prism’s has taken it out of me, or I’ll get free time tomorrow and just crack on ... we will see. Now that it’s only the Farseer to be completed what would you guys recommend or like to see added to the Force? I’m thinking perhaps Aspect warriors and Transports or Guardians and Transports. I’ll be building up the Skyrunner Seer Council as I go and will order an element of it with each order.

If I’m lucky I’ll be able to organise a game and put together a battle report, it’ll prob turn out to be a fairly clumsy picture based battle report but would add an extra bonus to getting to see the Force grow and fight over time.

Wow. That's a lot of progress. I started my eldar army around a year ago and am nowhere near as far as you are.

Looking great! Lovely clean work at the speed you're churning them out. When you get a chance to slow down and add some details (not that I'm suggesting that at the moment, I'm enjoying the rapid pace of expansion) I think it'll really help the models pop.

I agree with you; it would be good to get some troops and Wave Serpents and/or Falcons to carry them to keep up the theme - that is if you're not fed up of painting Falcon chassis grav tanks yet. Perhaps a squad of guardians and a couple of small squads of Dire Avengers to open up a battalion detachment to get some more CPs? I'm not sure what style of games you'll be playing with this army, aside from aiming at apocalypse levels of course.

Full Disclosure: I’m a casual player and might be slightly drunk. (edit, omit “might”)

One thing I’ve noticed about troops disembarking for transports is that they rarely last a turn out in the open. They step outside, slow down the onrushing hordes a/o grab an objective, and then vaporize. T3 in the open is just not that survivable. Rake a couple bolters across them and you will be packing up models faster then you can say “dying race”. To help with this I’ve recently picked up some wraithguard. Now I’ve not actually fielded them yet, as I’m a 100% painted kinda guy and they still need to be primed. But I’ve felt the need for an anvil unit. Something that can take a punch and not fold. Something that can put a boot on the ground and keep it there. I’ve actually purchased 2 of the new SC: Eldar boxes for this purpose. Built one of the units with d-scythes, planning on axes/shields for the other. As a fellow Saim Hann player, sticking them in a WS is mandatory, probably with a spiritseer for support. No reason to get more mud on your boots then is strictly required.

Flitting around on bikes is fine. But if you need to hold a piece of ground, bring something that can. Big blobs of guardians can do that, but as a Windrider, everything needs to start mounted (IMHO)

These are good. There are enough hours of rants with shaky cameras today on youtube already.

Thanks EmberlordofFire8 I’ve found that the blog itself has motivated me a fair bit to get the kits up and running.

Cheers Bellerophon I’ll add details as I go and hopefully keep a good pace, yeh I think it’ll be good to have Guardians and Aspects in Transports to add flexibility to any lists I put together, I’ll add more Wild Riders as-well.

Thanks Nevelon I totally agree everything has to start mounted to keep the fast paced Wild Rider theme, any ground units will have Transports. I’ll have to try and keep the dismounted guardians out of sight/range if possible but it’ll all come down to the task they are needed to achieve. I do think the Aspects in Transports will be a lot more aggressive, I’ll use them in strike tasks to hit at valuable targets. Wraith’s are good but very pricey perhaps put together a formation with Warriors,Lords and a Knight

Shadenuat I’ll put together picture based battle reports in the future I agree there is a lot of nausea inducing shaky cam reports on YouTube or overly planned out battle reports that talk you through each players strategy three turns in advance leaving nothing for the imagination, I’ll put them together and throw in some narrative

So today I intend on completing the first part of the Saim Hann Skyrunner Seer Council.

I have also put in another order so look forward to the next Care Package.

You have certainly got the assembly line painting figured out to produce such a great force in less than a month. I agree with others that the army will look that much more impressive with added details- it's a great uniform army but since every piece is the same it does look like it's been picked out of a video game. Saim-Hann look great in a uniformed and clean paint job so I wouldn't bother adding any battle damage or dirt, but I think you could really get that extra step with some head swaps. The Drukhari reavers and hellions heads would look really good on some windriders, and I always liked Saim-Hann for their organization with the more tribal undertones like having chieftains that are known to outrank the craftworld seers. In fact it was the Nuadhu Fireheart character in the old craftworlds codex that motivated me to start my own warhost back in the day. A benefit of having some minor customization on your bikers is that people will want to take a closer look at your units to see the differences rather than know if they've seen one jetbike they've seen them all, and head swaps are the easiest way to draw that attention.

@ Oaka yeh your right about the details, I’ll be throwing in details such as Gem stones and battle damage as I go, the main focus was to get a battle ready Force up and running as quickly as I could. What I might do is order in another squad of Wild Riders, fully customise them and then throw them into the other two squads giving the then three squads some variation.
