Better yet, just use the TRO 3025 stats for Stinger (1A), Valkyrie (1J), Wasp (1S), Phoenix Hawk (Super VT), Crusader (Armored Valk) and LAMs for the VF’s. Use the Warhammer (Tomahawk), Archer (Spartan), Rifleman (Defender) and Longbow (Phalanx) for the REF mechs. The stats Ostol, Ostscout and Marauder for the various Battlepods.

That’s because Battletech is a POOR fit for the actual Robotech/Macross mechs in the first place. I’ve tried many times over the years to do the same thing you’re doing and it just doesn’t work. For example, the tonnage you’re having to select for the various mechs not only puts them at the top end of the scale, the weights are actually silly. A F-14 tomcat, which the Veritech is modeled after is only 20 tons. A 100-ton airplane is somewhere in the range of a B1 lancer.

If you want fidelity, Mekton and Silhouette do it better, IME. If you just want an approximation and to be able to play with your toys in Battletech, it works well enough

That's kinda why they are "inspired" by and not supposed to be actual macross mecha.

My conversion and slight mods to alpha strike works and plays similar to rrt. Also I have started doing macross to Mekton as well.

That's the point of this thread . Robotech and macross related gaming as a whole.

Yeah there are quite a few of us playing battletech with our RRT toys now, so while it is nowhere near a perfect approximation it can still be done. And honestly battletech is also terrible with it's own internal scale anyway.
