Are they bigger than normal humans? I know the models are.

I think they’re meant to be 9 feet tall. I mean if you compare them to a Blood Reaver who is probably intended to be a huge man over 6 foot and put them next to a Stormcast they easily dwarf them. Plus the skulls at the base of the models suggest they’re a lot bigger. You easily trample a whole skull under your foot.

When you read Soul Wars that doesn’t come across as much as I’d expect it to though. Whenever a Primarch is described for example in the Horus Heresy or even descriptions of normal Space Marines; so I’d say it’s written like they’re just a bit tall. Not, can stand next to man on horse and look him in the eye.

I too find the lack of female models for earlier chambers annoying. I really wish they'd at least release a three model easybuild kit of female Liberators, so that there would be an easy way to add variety. Hunting copies of Angharad Brightshield and trying to convert her into different poses is expensive and annoying.

Commissar.
Catachan grenade launcher.
2 last chances.
Gaunts ghost blister pack.

All out of print.

But you are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

Well you never said they had to be currently in production.

Hmm? From the very beginning it was clear the Stormcast were human. “Gates of Azyr” the book that first came out at the moment AOS was released has Vandus taking off his helmet and showing a barbarian human that he was human to calm her. I suppose not everyone reads the novels though.

A lot of people (myself included) thought that while some elite Stormcast were flesh & blood, the majority were lightning in armour - and I'm not sure where I got that idea from :-( Reading The Price of Apotheosis the half-forged rogue Stormcast is described as a lightning gheist but when fully reforged they are flesh & blood - "The reforged stared straight forward, his eyes utterly devoid of emotion. He opened his lips, and spoke the first words of his newly given life". I accept that I need to read more :-)

You have to be careful when looking up AoS lore. I've noticed a trend of people making a flippant oversimplification of elements of the lore that end up being accepted as canon.

2000 Khorne Bloodbound (Skullfiend Tribe- Aqshy)
1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress
2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)

There are still people in my area that believe stormcast are either space marines (for real) or that they are just suits of armor that are empty.

I think they can add female Stormcast models to existing units. They can do the easy to build stuff or any other things.

People on this website still call them that.

I'm just really happy so many of my chainrasp hordes and skeleton warriors are female!

Nagash also has the best gender representation in his higher management functions now that Lady Olynder is a mortarch! He subjugates victims without prejudice for genitalia! What a great guy...

The boy, I say, the boy is as sharp as a sack of wet mice...
