Sadly, it doesn't. Looter is very specific that he only deals in full and half boxes.

Which is fair enough.

However, we do have a swap-shop in the group for the Heroes range. It was one of the other Mods that set it up, and it's pretty much one-for-one, barring the Captain model (though the Japanese Looter can sort that out for you).

Essentially, any Looting I arrange on Dakka via a thread will be subject to the same rules (including all payments via PayPal, and all as Goods and Services. Helps deter would be rip off merchants). I'll make sure I know what they are as and when!

Does getting a full box guarantee that you'll get all the minis?

Given the blind box nature, how does that work out if we want specific things?

Your best bet is trading with other people, or share the rhino with someone else, doesn't guarrantee you get the full set, but very high chance to get a non-rare dude.

Some sources say not, but we've not had any issues with it in the Group. I know that's not especially helpful, but it's the best info I've got.

That would be the simplest option, yes. But Zuckerburg is a terrible person and i'd rather not support his platform in anyway even if it was only to create a burner account.

Mad Doc Grotsnik wrote:That....depends.

For the Heroes stuff, there's a single Looter who can provide. He posts up the exact cost in Yen, which you then need to process into your own currency (or use PayPal, which I believe sorts that out?)

For other stuff, it'll depend where it's appearing, and who's doing the Looting.

I'm having some time off due to personal pressures taking up a great many spoons, and indeed time. But once I'm back, and with Mod Approval, I'm happy to run a thread here to get goodies to the good.
Hmm. Ok then, thanks.
Well the effort you've clearly put into the loot group is much appreciated, even if I can't readily access it. If a thread does eventuate here on Dakka, i'll be keen to hit it up.

Though if your Dakka flag is correct, postage can be a stinger.

Then again, if you're after something like Event Only models (like the Terminator Chaplain etc), if there's a few of your friends wanting it, that helps spread the postage cost, as I'd personally just send them all to one person, and let you sort it out from there!

And yes we do relatively bulk orders. Record was 20+ Chaplains for a chap in the States, ordering them in for his military mates!

For Series 2 it did. I'm not sure about this one yet though.

Postage down here is always a bastard.

I'm namely after the Series 1&2 marines and soon to be 3 as well. Plus the event chaplain/captain. Can the WHW exclusive stuff also be loot grouped? There's a few things from there i'd like as well.

They can indeed.

We've a couple of peeps a spit and stones throw away from Warhammer World, so stock allowing, Looting from there is pretty reliable. Plus of course the usual cycle of Nerds on Pilgrimage. And that of course includes Bugman's merchandise, much of which is really quite nice.

It's pretty much anything event or locale exclusive. We have done the odd bit of FW looting in the past, but as we rely quite heavily on GW's goodwill, we've curbed it of late, so as not to irk anyone.

Series 1&2 Marines? That's our Man in Japan you need. Not 100% sure if the first series is actually still in production over there.

Looks like there's going to be a second run of Series 1. The site I usually order from (amiami) is taking preorders for June. Checked a couple of other places and they're all showing similar things.

Series 3 is a disappointment for me personally, but good to hear there are new sculpts in the worldwide series 2 release.

I am underwhelmed by Drippy McDripperson, but really want to see the others in the line now..

Wait. I thought GW said they were going to make the Heros series available in their stores as well?

The wording suggests a worldwide release will follow Japan.

"Initially set for release in Japan, this is a collectable set of models featuring a range of new Death Guard miniatures, each one swarming with disease, pus and pestilence."

They’re a couple of the best Death Guard models, in my opinion. And I like the DG range a lot.

I was so amazed by the plague casters pose overal that I only just realised it seems to be sticking its finger up. Thought the fly was taking off from his hand but now I cant unsee him flipping the bird.

I concur with you on that, cannot wait 'til they hit the UK but guess we have to get series 2 here first.

He's got two fingers up. Take that to mean what you will, but I'm pretty sure its not the bird.

It's the disney point. Pointer and middle finger paired together is about the only expressive gesture that is not, in some major world culture, considered offensive. So in most popular media intended for global marketing you'll see people pointing and gesturing with two fingers.

It's just called the "disney point" because they did the initial research to figure it out.

The Primaris also have the two finger point. At my job, they want us to do that kind of point, since one finger pointing can be seen as offensive. Though, I doubt that's why he's doing it. I feel like he's uncurling his hand, and letting flies fly off of it, like a person that let's a bird feed out of their hand and fly off.

Can anyone tell if he's standing on a maggot, or is that maggoty mouth his foot?

Also, Drippy McDripperson looks a lot better without his helmet. The weepy eye hole doesn't do anything for the model
