I’m with the not-an-ork crowd. I’d love to be wrong though, I’d love some new Orks. But I dunno, it doesn’t scream ork to me. That said, these rumour engines are always deliberately obscure to throw you off. So who knows.

most of the rumor engines dont even give subtle hints as to what faction it is.
Look at the Shadowsun reveal. The thing she is standing on was the rumor pic....like cmon thats unfair lol

I always assume that when GW eventually get around to new Tyranids, the rumour engine pics will be bits of dead space marine used as base decoration.

At this point there are enough digital assets for dead space marines and a few other races that I would love to see a "casualties" basing kit come out.

To big for an Ogor plate, the skulls would be larger if that were case, maybe something for the rumoured Gargant army?

It is part of the new giants faction GW hinted at when they announced WFB coming back. They mentioned giants and Hysh for AoS.

Definitely not a gut plate, shape (and edges, ouch) is wrong.

It's a very large shield using a smaller shield as decoration.

But also, judging by the Stunty Shield, some what bigger than most Gut Plates?

Perhaps it is indeed armour for a Giant.

Gargant shield? Or belly plate? Maybe the new Gargants will be customizable for the major factions. The ability to make a very Ogor-y one, one for the Greenskins, a regular one, beastman, chaos, and maybe even a stormast themed one.

That immediately reminds me of the shoulder plates, from the ogre stonehorn & thundertusk. As some have mentioned, could be a ogor gargant gut plate, but I’ve got my fingers crossed that it’s a new HUGE gigantic beastie. A proper mammoth perhaps?

I’m in the corner of the rumoured Gargants. Looks like a potential shield or something for something nice and big, and looks in line with the other rumour engines that look big and covered in skulls.
