The 2nd invader is painted up! Now the bulldozer has bobcat company. And it jsut tickles me to think of a mighty space marine driving around a lil stubby bobcat in starts ands stops jerky movement. I like weathering these up, feels like they anrt jsut sitting in a base garage waiting to go ou and come home through the company carwash.
Ancient is almost done as well, which will put me over the 1k mark of finished models for this army.

Getting through the rest of the Indom marine models. They all needed to be less relicy and more geared up trenchy engineery, so this was a good time to put the new 3d printer to work. Also made a marker serivitor to add to the unit ifs I want them to have stalker bolt rifles. I figure making a marker is way easier than buying 2 extra squads just to change the profile of their rifle.
As usual they arnt quite finished, taking hte pics reminds me some things that need to be added or cleaned up before painting, and the bases are not final, they are just lightly glued on for painting purposes.

Its a 30k tater-sauce term power fist from the box set with the 30k marines and the sisters of silence, etc along with a 3d printed bionic arm(from here https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/bionic-arms-pack-1 , which I figured the buck 34 was worth it for an iron hands army!). Probably gonna add a cable or so to it as well, i'm loving the greenstuff world tentacle/wire maker set.
And Thanks Youwa! There are tanks and bikes and inceptors, and firestorms up first that have main colros done and are being tackeld one ata time now .... but we'll get to these guys as well in a bit!

Looking good with the conversions overall, particularly a fan of the Judiciar conversion, that's a great base model for a whole bunch of conversions. Nice job on the power fist too, a unique look to it.

Thanks for the kind words!
Took a small break from the boys in green to do a little work on a terrain peice for my forge world gaming mat. Also, no siege company leaving home without thier vindis. This is the first of two. I started building them with a makeshift vidi gun and shield, then I just randomly came across some 3d files of the shield and gun, so thought I'd try printing them up ...its the biggest thing i've printed so far.

Finished piece of terrain for a sector mechanicus type table. I shrunk down some soda can fittings on my 3d printer to size them to a pill bottle for a not quite as big tower.

@gobert: yeah, definitly glad for that. Also been checking out some of the masters level work on these kinds of terrain(broncofish, figouz, etc), so I have some new techniquest to try out as well. Here is the next peice trying out hose new methods!
@tzurk: Thanks! First bits with the terrain are being worked on, though still messing with the mortalis stuff trying various layouts. So the first peice up is more sector mechanicas than zone mortalis, but they will all mesh together.
@416_spaceWolves: Thanks! I like to try and set my armies apart from the pack, and the coppy chop makes me happy.
@ Gwyn: Thanks! I got more mintys coming up, as well as the first bit o terrain here.
About the terrain: So this is a mix of sector mechanics stuff as well as some zone mortalis tiles(3d printed becasue I can't find any for sale for less than $150 on ebay), and a 3d printed vat for the big tank that I found on thingyverse. Then painted with techniques borrowed from Figouz(his stuf is amazing!). Its almost finished. still need to pick out a few small details, and mix up some resin to fill the vat. There are a couple more big tiles in progress, and will be posting pics of them as well very soon.

First 12" tile with some of the new pieces. I was 3d printing the floor tiles and wasnt paying attention and saw i forgot to top off the resin prior to one of the prints ... so when i did that the print seperated becasue the layers didnt fuse after the pause to add the resin. so whil looking at the failed parts ... this tile idea kinda sprung into mind, and I had to chase it. So first full till is a chem pool with some makeshift walkways on the edge of a cumbling/collapsing floor. Will fill it with resin after its painted.
Youwa: Thanks! Yeah, here is a ton of it(plus the new gang fort kit that I havnt busted into yet as well!), plus my already considerable stash of half finished peices using other kits that might get broken down and re assembled. As you can see parts of it are already coming together in the first 12" tile!
IGtR: Thanks! I had lots of fun working with the new techniques to do color filters, and rust etc.
Gobert: Thanks!

Assault intercessors conversions. Techy backpacks, bedrolls, shovels, wrenches, bionic arms and legs, and two thunder hammer sargentos to run the unit as two small ones or one large one.
