Funnily enough those two (Fabius, Eltharion) aren't built yet

Starting a local monthly painting challenge has really helped. Keeps the progress going even when you'd rather procrastinate or play video games etc.

I've got bins and boxes of unpainted stuff, and there's more constantly added to them. The pile of shame ebbs and flows. I've put a significant dent in it, but damn if boxes of historical minis don't just ramp up the quantity of unfinished models drastically.

Then again I do churn out a fair amount of painted models when I get momentum going, and part of the reason I started doing Youtube stuff in the first place was to fight my way through my backlog.

Biggest factor for me in letting my pile of shame linger is the time it takes to get around to filming, building, finishing, editing, and uploading new content. I currently have about six or seven unfinished projects for Youtube I need to wrap up before I start the next half dozen.

If it sits in a bin for too long unpainted it will more than likely get eBayed. That helps. I'm more than happy to help contribute to others piles of shame!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

The main thing I need to do is STOP buying stuff like start collecting boxes and absolutely stop buying so many D&D minis!

Too long to list. I'll just start with
*6x8 FW Zone Mortalis board, with pretty much all of the goodness that comes with it: barrels, containers, plasma regulators, containment tanks, bulkheads, scribes station, etc, etc.
*6x8 FW Realm of Battle board with enough terrain in stock/in boxes to cover it all

Deathwing Terminator with Assault Cannon

- About 40 Space Marines from Indomitus (current project)
- Mortalis style industrial terrain from Necromunda
- Vampire Blood Bowl team
- Confrontation Red Lioness
- 15 model Everblight starting force
- About a dozen or so Khador models
- 4 or 5 Cygnar models
- 76 Firestorm Armada ships
- About 150 Genestealer Cult models that need to be stripped and reprimed

Not too bad really. The Marines are my 2021 project, so I'm deliberately waiting on the GSC till 2022 (and hopefully a new Codex).

At some point the Reaper Bones V kickstarter will arrive at my door and double the pile. I'm not counting Descent and Dungeon Saga, since I don't plan to ever paint them.

as i just came back to the hobby. EVERYTHING of mine is unpainted, but they should be at some point.

built but unpainted:
1x Baneblade
5x Necron Deathmarks

not built:
1x old Necron Monolith
2x squads of Neccron Warriors with Scarabs

yea the unbuilt stuff was from like 6-8 years ago when I played Necrons and didn't see them in a corner of my room when I sold my force. Then i found them the other day when i rejoined the hobby! Now it is no longer the age of the clear green rods for necrons so idk what ima do with them either so they just gonna sit in storage until i decide to build them or sell them.

I'll paint my banblade when I get two more and can make the steel fury company. I'll probalby paint the deathmarks when I have a larger collection of necrons. Whenever that may be XD
