Duncan Rhodes will return to GW and they will release a biography titled Two Thin Coats: The Life and Legacy of Duncan Rhodes. Within the book, there are rules for painted models. But the rules only apply if the models aren't kitbashed, and only painted with GW paints.

In 2021, there will be a new edition of Age of Sigmar. Only it will be called Age of _______. With ______ being one of the factions god, champion or most iconic character. Example: Age of Alarielle, Age of Morathi, Age of Teclis, Age of Nagash, etc. The winner will be decided via which faction sells the best. This will continue on an annual basis. So if you want your faction's most famous character to be the name of the game, start collecting.

-Following on the heels of the AoS Hedonites release will be Codex: Emperor's Children. Noise marines are getting a plastic kit with a TON of new weapon options, allowing them to be kitted out for rapid-fire, long range Havoc equivalents, or even for melee. The melee ones are really unique but I have concerns about weapon breakage during transport. Daemons of Slaanesh are part of the Codex and can be included in EC detachments but will not gain any EC benefits if they do so, but the Codex: Daemons benefits for DoS detachments are reprinted as well (with some small updates that are also errata'd into Caemons). Fulgrim will not be part of this release.

-The new Custodes 'dex is Talons of the Emperor and includes SoS, some special detachment rule that lets you add Custodes/SoS to an Imperium army without spending CP.

-Eldar are scheduled for the middle of the year, later Q2 or early Q3 but the date isn't fixed yet because of pandemic stuff. There will be plastic aspect warriors but I have not heard which. Not all of them will be getting an update and the ones that don't are going to Legends. The ones that do will also have options in the box to build one model as the associated Phoenix Lord. 5 models to a box, don't have the exact price, more expensive than banshees apparently but that's news to no one. There will be a new kit for Ynnari that is like a wraithguard fused into a war walker, similar design to a dreadknight except smaller and it looks really cool. 60mm base models, box of 2 for $80. Plastic autarch for $60, has different wings/helmet for Craftworlds and Ynnari respectively. Plastic Avatar the size of the Forge World one with options for a sword or spear. You don't want to know the price.

-Tau Codex is a somewhat straightforward update, no models, some fancy rules here and there but mainly a bundle of new stratagems all centering on Overwatch mechanics. Not a Tau expert but some look pretty good and others... not so much.

-Q3 will see the release of Codex: World Eaters, complete with Daemon Primarch Angron and a slew of plastic kits. Khorne Berserkers are getting a dual-build kit with a possessed-like daemonkin unit. 5 models and $75. Angron $240. Like Codex: EC, Daemons of Khorne are incorporated in and can be part of WE detachments without benefits or on their own detachment using newly reprinted and MASSIVELY buffed DoK detachment rules. Enough that Khorne will probably hit top brackets of the tourney scene.

-Chapter Approved will have a rules update for Death Guard and Thousand Sons (the latter of which is not getting a Codex until 2022) to include daemons of their respective gods. The detachment benefits for DoN and DoT will be updated as well, making Codex: Daemons obsolete prior to it going OOP at the end of the year.

-Imperial Guard getting their Codex in Q4, no details but apparently it is a HUGE release with all finecast models going to either plastic or legends, and all of the current Cadian/Catachan infantry options included in one of the new kits. Supposedly the basic infantry squad now comes with one model being a psyker/priest build as an optional attachment, which is cool but also sucks since you'll be at 9 models if you don't want to bring one.

-Orks will not be getting a Codex until 2022.

Only the last one was funny.

Inexplicably, all Forgeworld orders will be filled, instead, with a lead Chaos Toilet.

GW designers will finally find a way to make their marine primaris resilient to incoming lasgun fire. Stormshields will be made as wargear for Phobos marines, providing eliminators a much needed boost in saves while in cover.

A new, improved marine will be created that is bigger even than the custodes models, and has a significant bump in strength, toughness, and physical attacks. It represents the cutting admech technology of blending ogryn and primaris genetics, to create a super melee marine specialized for fighting crowds. These marines will be used only as individual characters. Apparently, you use very different moves fighting crowds! Special wargear for this model will include a rock that can be thrown so hard it shatters (that's mahreen hard) (s12, -6ap, 6D, ignores invuln shields, and otherwise 5 melee attacks (choice of punching for s6/-2/3D or kicking and flailing against a crowd to have each attack tripple but at reduced strength, s4/-1/1D, representing crowdbashing. 15 attacks per turn with a weapon skill of 3+ should be in line with what a primaris ogryn fusion can accomplish.
The second bit of wargear for these Giant model marines will be called "a halocaustic cloak"
The halocaustic cloak oozes horrific acids (fumes around the marine in orange and bright yellow, that could almost appear to be flames) that burn the melee ranged models for 1 MW per unit at the end of a melee phase (any melee phase, even those of nearby tables, or those called in and discussed from nearby stores, cause RAW.), and immediately trigger a morale check which any LD 9 or lower unit fails. Cause. This model will translate, when carefully analyzed, into the first model that properly shows how resilient marines SHOULD be, ... 9 wounds and saves on a 6+, but has the incredible physical stamina of its primaris nature to grant it an inherent 2+++ feel no pain. These Giant Model Marines will be expensive, at least 46 points, and even better, character protected.

I am going to name mine Andre.

A new faction will be released called the Society of Justice. Their warriors will be neither male or female and feature mostly sonic weaponry. For tournament play, the 3 colour rule is not applicable as that is deemed too extreme. In addition, GW announce at release that any online complaints about how the sculpts look will immediately result in the name, address, and picture of said "abuser" being shown on their main website.

What's the 'mouthwatering' parts count of these collectible gaming figures? Two dozen? Three Dozen? Oh, boy could it be almost four dozen parts per marine? Man, wouldn't it be great if it required like four quarters for every upper and lower limb, and I certainly hope the seam goes right across the face. That'd be just great.

154-After neglecting the digital side of things for so long GW makes a big splash with their new mobile browser AR game Warhammer GO!

As one of the beta testers I've been maining an Eldar party, I recently evolved one of my guardians into a Fire Dragon and once I have enough soul stones I can evolve the other into a Swooping Hawk, I just have to make sure I'm higher than 10 stories when I hit evolve or I'll get another worthless Dire Avenger. I've also been running some Tyranids but need a lot more biomass candies if I'm going to evolve a Carifex.

But really I'm waiting for it to go live and the 'In the Navy' expansion. If I can catch an armsman in my tesseract vault I can evolve him into an Avenger Pilot which is Super Effective against ground-based armor.
