Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

VR is kind of in a weird spot. First, it is expensive but that will eventually come down. The biggest issue I think is space. VR requires you to adjust your gaming space to be much bigger than they have been in the past, and I expect a lot of people simply can't do it. I myself cannot as the place where I have my computer wouldn't allow for arm flailing.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Nintendo is diversified in to Television, Toys, and they seem to be tentatively dipping their toes in to e-sports again with Smash.

Sony and Microsoft are diversified in to technology and more technology. Nintendo is the safer bet of the three because if there is some crazy technological catastrophe, like say a chip shortage, they don't give a damn because they are still selling toys and shows. Also the largest franchise in the world with Pokemon.

You guys might be underselling it.

Pokemon is also really odd because when you look at the games, they are FAR from the top end of graphics or features. Heck their shift to the Switch really showed up huge issues with their team not quite having the setup to take the game into such a more powerful system of display.

It's as if for all the money they make, they never expand their team or budget.

If there is a crazy technological catastrophe, they will give a damn because the world economy becomes a dumpster fire and civilization is forced to regress decades.

But yet with this crazy technological catastrophe we are in right now with a chip shortage, they don't care.

A chip shortage isn't a crazy technological catastrophe, but a temporal crisis mostly caused by COVID-19.

Moreover they do care, Switch production was hit by chip shortages, just not to the same extent Microsoft and Sony were hit.

There was a Chip shortage long before Covid happened...

Nintendo doesn't have issues putting out the Switch, they don't care. You cannot find a PS5 anywhere.
