If you don't like the aesthetics and design of the army you picked, that sounds like a you problem.
What if I have been collecting sisters since 3rd edition, and my exorcists are based on the earliest known exorcists that were a fan made tank submitted to the SistersofBattle EGroup from 1998? (It wasnt even a yahoo group yet, as yahoo hadnt bought the site. As if anyone even uses yahoo groups anymore, or even knows what that is.)
It was a rhino chassis (remember this is 3rd ed so the rhino at this point was a rogue trader era travesty) that had six hunter killer missiles glued together and mounted similarly as you would find on a whirlwind, but not bi lateral.
To the
OP, the exorcist was created for all intents and purposes by a fan to be the sisters version of a whirlwind. So in all reality, using a whirlwind is more canon than the pipe organ you see nowadays.
Extra bit of old man trivia, the nifty sisters of battle walkers you see now were also a fan submitted scratchbuild to Matthew Sprange's sister's website at that time (circa 2000) using Adeptus titanicus parts, and armed with multimeltas instead of close combat options.
Looks like the folks who are/were creative are the real winners here. Because youre all working on the backs of what they created. Even
GW cant claim them as original since their identity has been around longer than many people who play
40K have even been alive.
