Subject: Payday 2 - POINT BREAK heist & new free character with perk deck
The DLC does /not/ come with the two new heists. It comes with the /ability to host/ said heists. You pay for hosting, not access privileges.
Just because OK has always been grossly overpricing their DLC doesn't suddenly make it's ok. Essentially, it's ridiculously overpriced compare to most comparable DLC in other games. But who am I to judge, OK Studios has clearly shown that they are a bunch of boingy-holes who consider their community being a milking stock not caring about them at all.
It's the internet, it's a public forum and I am getting closer to 40 than I might maybe like...so why not. Can't get old without starting to complain about stuff.
...and really, OK got their heads so far up their buttocks, it's hilarious.

What annoys me is that OVK went from fairly cool company that respected their fans, to another EA clone sucking money from their customers any way they can.

TL;DR: We tried something new, we screwed up, we apologize, we're still alive and kicking and want to continue making PAYDAY 2 better all the time. Thank you for being a part of it and please be patient as we come up with something nice to give you!

Subject: Payday 2 - new character incoming - Rust the Biker, voiced by Ron Perlman
The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

They've certainly reinvigorated the interest in the game with my old group, plus I personally really like that I can finally crank out some damned efficient builds for both stealth and loud without having to delve too deeply into junk skills.
My new loud build in particular, especially paired with Sydney's Anarchist perk deck, turns me into an almost unstoppable tank who regenerates insane amounts of armour with every headshot.
