The standard one. They resculpted her as a limited edition for Angels first book, this will be the retail release of a resculpted Joan.

Finally...

And just to underscore this:
They did a limited edition sculpt of Joan for Angel's first book. Not his second, not some random thing he did once. His first book.

It's so basic, but I really like that Bagh Mari. Nexus should be cool. Lots of neat stuff.

It's probably the angle and the fact that they are renders but the Riot Grrls seem very Gary Morley ish to me. Quite off body and head proportions and some relatively crude looking faces.
The giant toddler that accompanies them isn't a big plus either.

The Tinbot is scaled up, it won't be that big. The Grrls themselves seem odd but I'm hoping proper photos of the actual models helps.

I'm quite excited about all the character they have but they certainly do seem a bit out of proportion in places. Like you both said, here's hoping it's the angles of the renders. I think that's quite a common problem!

Some parts for example the back plate seem to be missing for viewing purposes these would bulk the models up.

I am quite excited and anxious about the Hospitalers kit.

Oh and a few more Joans will never hurt.

The Nomad player in my group is not a fan at all of the Riot Grrls, but he's been after a combi rifle tinbot Brigada since the box came out. We're unlikely to get that profile but he's excited at the possibility of using the Riot Grrl arms and head off the Combi model on a female Brigada body. The head specifically because it looks like the Luxumbra Brigada head.

I wonder if the WUlver in the new CHA box will be a new one. The current sculpots aren't that old.

The Starter Mini is a Male Wulver with a T2 Rifle and Grenades.

Doesn't looks like there is one in the current box that matches that.
Spoiler:

My guess is a new one to enhance the existing box...or prepping for a step up in quality of the furry blighters.

Zhanying's coat is very stiff. Meh.

Finally, the Bagh-Mari HMG. Looks tableworthy. I'll get it. Now, the Acontecimento hacker? So I can "complete" my ASA.

The Ayyar... Has that Dr Doom look. At least I think it's Dr Doom. Not a comic book fan, really, me.

Major Lunah? Hunh? Is that the Wu Ming HRL pose? The Bagh Mari Sniper pose?

I like how the person-- IIRC, Riotgrrl from the official forums-- in the photo of the Riot Grrls has the Riot Grrl logo on her(?) jacket back.

A new Vedic for ALEPH? A sign of the end of the world, to be sure. Looks like it might make a nice enough proxy for the Naga minelayer. A ver.

I cannot tell much from these orange renders-- as I have already learned, so I'll reserve final judgment until I see the painted models. However, I do like the look of the Ayyar.

Haven't watched the video yet, any word on release schedules?

Bostria asked her to get into the photo because one of them was sculpted to look like her.

Which is pretty awesome. Unfortunately I missed the chance for them to sculpt a fat yuan yuan to look like me.

Well Kronk, they are available for pre-order until 3 April, so you'll have to act soon to get them. Wartsore and Gamenerdz have them. Miniature Market does not as of yet.

That's a nice little tribute then, the riot grrl sculpt. It is hard to see it though in that photo. The renders are, uhm, indistinct. Still, the best photo of a tribute mini announcement was of Psychotic Storm reacting to the Konstantinos Dire Foes mini announcement at GenCon.

Makes me wonder, since CB is starting up with the Vedics again, if they will do a tribute to the Cosplayer -- Yashia-- who did the Asuras ( and many other Infinity figures).

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Who has ordered from Gamenerdz, and how satisfied were you in doing business with them? I'd rather not order the Fat Yuan Yuan from Wartsore.

I've made a couple orders from them (including Red Veil preorder) and had no issues. Price was good, shipping was free, communication was fine, and I got my package in a timely manner.

I spent over 2k at Gamenerdz last year. Haven't been let down once.

I pre-ordered from them.

Alpharius recommended them a while back. Tried them out. No problems from me either.

Their prices seemed too-good-to-be-true, but they delivered as advertised. Seems that their biggest shortcoming is that they don't stock everything from a certain line at a time.

Thanks guys. That does help. No worries about pre-orders being in stock, eh? If MM doesn't offer it this week, I'll get it from Gamenerdz. I have points with MM, so I get that discount coming.

that settles it. At least one of mine will be painted in white/purple/green colors. Buzz really let himself go!

Gamenerdz also does points like MM, and they stack discounts.

The more you buy, the more you save.

You can also just Email them and ask about it. I like to do that and confirm they have things coming. Even if it's listed Out of Stock.

Patrick or Jay will hook you up.

Thanks Alpharius & TalonZahn. Lot's of satisfied customers... always a good sign. And good to know about the points/discounts things. I do love me a bargain. I do want those minis too. As a QK player, I can actually use them in game.

We have something coming out of the Adepticon this week-end? Will it be a re-hash of what we have already seen, which is quite a bit? A release schedule for April and May previews?

Ah Buzz, I always knew that he would end up that way. No impulse control. And a perfect paint scheme too.
