Subject: Warhammer 40K Video Bat Rep Astra Militarum vs Tyranids
Good BatRep, I'd love to see more from the Nids. It's an interesting style of Nids you play Reecius, not bad at all but different from mine. Always a pleasure to see Nids win though!

Cool report. When I look at the map (playing armchair general right now), I'm surprised Rawdogger chose the side he did with the Outflank AM unit. As he had the choice of table sides, it would seem all those shots would have been very beneficial going after Hive Guard and even the Gaunts.
I enjoyed the report. Table looked fantastic and glad to see that a Tyranid army is far from bad.
Thanks for sharing.
No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Cool batrep, it was also very nice to hear somebody say that a list that is Not Skyblight is good. Very close game, Nids just don't handle Heavy Armor wort beans.

Raw Dogger is having his learning games with IG broadcast to the world. I hope the internet is unusually forgiving.
The company commander would be insanely good if he was an independent character. If dogger wants that he should really check out Yarrick.
I really like your new BAO mission format. It gives an actual opportunity for strategy in the game and actively promotes balanced mobile scoring lists.

Linebreaker is one model from a scoring unit. Never auto vehicles anymore either do you?, Where you playing the sabers and quad gun as snap shooting at ground targets?.

Raw Dogger will get me eventually =) He knows I am not pulling my punches so when he does eventually beat me, it will mean more to him. His list is savage and he keeps getting better. It is just a matter of time.

Here's a link to all the threads Reece has started here on dakka:
@Reecius, quick question re the formation. It was hard to see from the list what units were included in the formation vs the CAD, because presumably the formation units didn't get Objective Secured. Not sure that would have made much, if any difference?
It'd be great if the army lists that scroll showed the formations separately.

I get that all the time.
@MarkCron
This formation always has 3 units, there is no variability so I include it in the list itself. I do that with allies, too, just habit. It would be easy enough to separate detachments.
You no longer auto-hit vehicles that remain stationary. They always count as WS1 unless they're immobilized. When immobilized, that's when you auto-hit tanks.

We drink a lot, but no, lol, not a 21 and up team. We had a guy that was 17 on the team, Youngblood. The only rule for the team is that you have to go to tournaments regularly, represent the team well by conducting yourself as a gentleman at events and you have to beat a current member of the team in a challenge game. It's pretty straightforward, really. Then you can get a team shirt and you are good to go!

You know, I just realized something. I've played against so many Team0Comp members....however, I've never challenged to be on the team before. Hmmmm....I think I just might have to issue a challenge the next time I am there.
We do get requests for specific lists and we try to do it if we can, but we almost never have all the specific models people ask for.
@Jim
You know you are welcome! You are at the shop every week almost anyway playing with us, might as well join. And just challenge Frankie, you beat him every time you play him, lol!
I'd rather challenge the Reecemeister if you've got the time. I need to 1) avenge my last loss and 2) even the score between us ever since 6E (I believe you are 1-up on me, maybe even 2).
BTW, I have the feeling that Frankie is due to win one against me. I better not take my chances with karma. HAHAHAHA.
