Well this AM, I was thinking about Genestealers, and how I would like to play them, but don't. That got me thinking about the overall "meh" flavor of the current Codex. And how It could be spiced up, without going "over the top".

1) Lower the cost of Stealers, I suggest 11 per. 12 if you're conservative. At this price point, I'd likely use them, and I think others would too. Not "must take", but "can take"

2)Add Flesh hooks as an allowable upgrade for Stealers. This seems like a fluffy, easy improvement. Whith this, I would be temped to play Stealers, even at 18 per.

3)Allow us to buy "Ymgarl" as an upgrade as wished, including as a "tax" for Broods! Again pretty dang "fluffy" for a bio tech army. And I could have "Ymgarl" Stealers, again even with the Tax, I'd be temped to take stealers with the option to get a 4+ save, plus other goodies.
(The thought of "Ymgarl Horagaunts" makes me do a happy dance in my head)

4) Allow Thorax Hives for Carnifexen. Dang this makes no sense, lets fix that.

5) Lower Regen to 25 points. It just too expensive, maybe at 25 it will become more affordable.

Well that's all for now...what do You think?
