Here is the latest battle report! What a nail biter, all the way to the end! Forgetting my razorwing the last few turns could have made a difference. Enjoy the battle report, and remember, at the end I always do a tactical breakdown of the game to some pictures. Cheers!

Wow, what a nail biter! Thanks for sharing, love the succubus with lance, very unconventional but she pulled it off big for you! The blind grenade was very cheeky as well

Cool report. The more I see it and play it, the more I am liking 1500 point games. If you took these armies back in 3rd edition, it would be more like 1750-1850 point armies. Terrain looked nice and adequate and overall I enjoyed the report. I'm a long time Eldar player and really like the Saim Hann themed army. Thanks for sharing.

I have to agree. I attended a couple 1500 pt and even a 1250 point RTT and it is crazy how much you can still field. I think 1500 is my new favorite point cap.

Lucky is some ways considering the end of game rolls but surviving past turn 5 against Eldar at all is no easy task

Yeah, the Eldar put out a silly number of str 6 shots. And dark eldar don't like str 6 multiple shot weapons, that kill all the tanks and negate any FNP by drugs or pain tokens. But it was nice not to get tabled by Matts army.

As for the succubus with the lance. I am really liking how dynamic she is, with furious charge (from the pain tokens) and maybe even +1 str from the combat drugs all of a sudden she becomes quite nasty even against some large MC's with the stats of a mini-deamon prince.

Yea I'll have to give her a go, she might even be great paired with a more durable character like Urien as she isn't too expensive equiped that way.

I'm considering running her in a unit with the baron to take advantage of the Hit+run as well. Or running an autarch with a powerlance as well...

That sounds like a fun idea as well, baron is such an amazing utility character for DE.

I am really hoping the new book allows characters on bikes and skyboards, then it would be possible to through her in some hellions and gain HnR.

I could see hellions get Jink again (with the new jink mechanic) as they had it before that would be cool. A biked archon would be awesome! I miss my killy archon on a jetbike...
