OK so maybe I don't count as your country...However, I do REALLY need your help! And I mean all of you!
Recently my 40k hobby has been rekindled thanks to the new BT stuff and many many cool conversions here and on other sites. In just over 2 months I have dug up my old SM's (from when I was 6/7, the ones with static non-action poses) and tried some experiments on them. I had only 12 new marines and they were some crappy ones I bought from a friend at school for 50p (score!). So after trying around 10 different techniques for the first ever time (a hell load of cutting, sawing, sticking, sculpting, painting and god-knows-what-else ), I have almost finished my first squad along with the modelling of the first part of the army. They are a BT successor chapter with DA green as a secondary colour, still not sure on a name.
So, why do I need you, I hear you ask? Well, obviously armies need leaders. And leaders have to be cool. Y'know, cool? Right, so what I've got for my third(!) and hopefully 'coolest' chaplain is the biker one (http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=9947010107603&orignav=10) avec sculpted hair which I think looks pretty 'cool' however, I will be having him with a dynamic foot pose and I'm not so sure what to do. After seeing that GK termie, I knew I would need you guys' help creating a decent pose. I think just a default bolt pistol arm would do though I have tried the aiming arm with blu-tac and the head is not lined up properly. Maybe the arm could be slightly behind the body to represent a running motion. Perhaps you guys can help me out?
I'll try get some piccies of my first squad to show you guys. Thanks in advance
