Subject: First go at Sniper Scouts squad - Flesh Tearers
I have finally finished my first squad of Flesh Tearers sniper scouts, well I say finished but I did notice a spot or two worth going back to while taking the photographs
It was definitely fun finally painting something other than Tac marines!
I think i went a bit too far with the highlights so I'll have to restrain my self a bit next time.
I really enjoyed painting the cloaks on these guys, some of which I bought from the UK based Anvil Industries and I also purchased the sergeants Sniper rifle from them as well.
For those who haven't seen the rifle before it's well worth checking out on their ebay store page or home page as it comes with a good selection of interchangeable barrels and magazines.
I'm pretty reluctant about putting chapter decals on their shoulders, anyone think I should bother?
Any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.
Nice work. Scouts are, in my opinion, more challenging models for a marine army. Trying to get them to blend well with power armored marines, but still stand apart can be tough.
