Hey Everyone,

Just trying to get interest out there. These are great models to build up your terrain selection for cheap.

My wife and are in the process of starting an International Artist's Residency and a large part of the Residency will be 3D printing. We are coming at fundraising from multiple angles and one of them is our hobbies. Today I present to you my first piece of 3D printed Terrain for your enjoyment.

This is our to scale Shipping Container. These stand at 45mm tall and are modeled after a 20ft shipping container to stand to scale next to a 28mm miniature.

The process used leaves a slight texture on the surface where you can see the printed layers, but these are intended to be cheap terrain using FDM 3D printing as opposed to the more expensive options. The models paint up really nice and are great filler for your gaming table.

I am asking $8 USD per container, $20 for 3, and

Of course since I'm a gamer I will also consider trading these containers for 40k Imperial models. My 40k Wants List Is:

The ruins of the Palace of Thorns

These look smaller than the OOP AT-43 containers it used to be possible to get. Is that correct?

I ask because I'd be most interested in something that matches that size.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Hey everyone,

Here are some scale shots of the size I have settled on:

They're 50mm high.

I hate to break it to you but Rust Forge already makes those.

http://rustforge.com/commerce/index.php/28mm-terrain/cargo-containers.html

Their's are the same size/scale but are injection molded hard plastic, can be built into 3 different versions, are hollow, and cost the same.

Thanks for doing some market research for me.

I'll sell mine then for 8$ a piece.
