I've slowly been putting together my small ultramarine force for a couple of years now and I realized they really need some heavy support. So I got a dreadnought to back up my smurfs. Let me know what you think, thanks

Very nice and clean. I tend to paint most of my stuff sans battle damage and grime, so this is right up my alley. If I were to offer some criticism, though, it would be to add a bit of color. Try and include the company colors somewhere on the dread and/or apply a few more decals. SM dreads are supposed to be ancient warriors, so some battle honors and markings will go a long way towards making this piece stand out in your army.

I think you need to work on your photography more then your painting. I say that in a good way. The first pic I thought “not bad, but the details need a little something” Then some of the close ups were in better focus, so I could see the little text on the purity seals and your amazing lenses. So the detail is there, and well done; just hard to see.

If there is one thing I think you could do to the model itself, more decals (or freehand). The only Ultramarine iconography is on the power fist arm. I might add some to the other arms, or the leg plates. But besides that, a very nice dread.

It's a simple but classic paintjob. I dig it. I agree with all of Nevelon's points though - some better photography would be excellent, and a little more freehand/decal work would go a long way. You can get a decent setup for photos with a pair of desk lamps and a large piece of white paper and any point and shoot camera. Looks good from what I can see though!
