take your lasgun, chop of the silly pointy end of it, but leave part of the plastic sticking out to form the barrell. drill a small hole into the end of said barrell.

Tons of modern weapons.  I've been thinking that a entire guard army (or maybe just a kill team since I already have guard) with modern weapons would be cool.  I particularly like the AK47 with no stock or the H&K MP5.

I've seen the Reaper Exarch with both weapon options and both look like things you can buy in sex shops. A weapon should not look like this, not even a Emperor's Children weapon. -Symbio Joe
