Hi folks... sorry I'm suuuuuper late with a new one of these... been taking a bit of a break.... but I'm gonna make a comeback.

So what are you folks looking to get done by the end of the year?

How has this past year looked like for you hobby wise?

HmI'dm well lessee on the to-do list I have:
3 necromunda/gorkamorka gangs plus vehicles
25 DKoK
~50 steel legion
about 20 tanks
20 infinity
6 skink blood bowl players
16 Amazon blood bowl players
I think that's about it....
So I'd like to complete by year's end:
All blood bowl figures & my ash nomads & orks gangs plus vehicles so that's about 40 figures plus 2 bikes, 3 trucks, & a trakk

On my todo list are loads of models for I tend to buy and entire army and start working on it and then after a few squads and models run out of steam and starting another army to not get bored.

My Elven army:
So I have finished assambleing but only base coated;
46 elven spearman (read spearelves)
32 elven sea guards
20 elven archers
10 sisters of avalorn
20 phoenix guard
10 white lions
16 swordmasters of hoeth
1 frost phoenix
10 dragon princes
7 silver helms conversions
----
Painted but unfinished (still to be based or detail painted)
1 fire phoenix (feet and rider need to be done)
1 dragon with rider conversion (dragon needs finishing and rider needs to be painted)
20 archers (that await basing)

Skaven army:

Unassembled and unpainted;
52 clan rats
2 rat ogres
4 rat snipers
2 flame trowers

Space wolves army:
Unasembled & unpainted
10 grey hunters
10 blood claws

Assembled and magnetised / converted
10 terminator wolf guard
Arjac rockfist (also need some sculpting on the face and a new hamer since it broke off (crappy resin cast)
Rhino transport
Landraider
Dreadnought / bjorn fell handed / murderfang
Stormfang Gunship / Stormwolf transport ship

Almost finished painting
2 squads of 5 long fangs.


And for my other big projects:
The fenrisian battle boards 1 out of 3 is comming allong quite nicely.

Next battle board project will be a ancient forrest fortification for my elven army.


And finally what I hope to complete before newyears eve;

For the end of 2014, I want to have my 700 point Gondor army fully painted and based. Done already are Boromir, Faramir, 12 Warriors and 5 Rangers, leaving the to do list at:

6 converted Osgilliath Veterans
Denethor
Converted Madril

22 minis, I should be able to achieve that in the month and a week I have left of the year. Should that go according to plan and get done early, I also have some Blood Angels to finish up (including my last 2 Space Hulk Terminators) and I want to start a 700 point Mordor force as a sister list to the Gondor stuff.

Well, my White Scars army was very nearly finished. But I buckled and brought more models... Really want to finish the army by the end of the year. I've got:
-Ironclad Dreadnough to finish. Painting is done, just in need of some finishing touches, varnish and flock
-Rhino, which is (probably) just shy of half way
-A Land Raider which has been on my to-do list since september (2013)
-5 sternguard, who all need a paint job.

That is my Xmas holidays painting lined up. But before then, trying to get through 9 warriors and a dragon ogre for a fantasy league in the LGS (painting points here I come!!).

Two MO starters, Icestorm Pan-O minis,
3 alguaciles, Kusanagi, BS Custodier, two Prowlers, Senor Massacre, Avicienna, Zero Hacker, Mobile Brigada, Bran do Castro, Vortex Spec Ops, dire Foes Fleeting Alliance and finally a Lizard TAG..

Gonna have a hell of a time getting the minis ready in time for the painting comp I've entered..

Trying to be realistic, I know I won't get a lot of stuff done in December.
So my aim is:

Magnetize weapon options for Tac Squad and Command Squad

Build a complete 10 man Tac Squad

Practice painting more than an hour

I'm hoping to get at least one of my Eldar style Assassin conversions done.

Getting suitable weapon swaps is proving an issue though, Calidus should be done quickly once parts arrive.
