I tend to read the site both at home and at work.

Lately I've noticed that if I am logged in on one computer it logs me out on the other. This despite me not removing the cookies on logout.

It means I have to constantly login as I go from home to work, despite checking 'keep me logged in on this device' checkbox.

Other forums do not exhibit the same behavior. I use Chromium (both at work and home), version 41 from the dev channel.

Note that during the weekend it keeps me logged in at home without problems despite the computer being turned off and browser cache being cleared repeatedly.

I've got a fix going in soon (probably this weekend) that will stop this from happening. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Would that be related at all?

Quite likely related - the fix just went live so let me know if there are problems from here on out.

Clear your cookies as they might clash with the reset code a bit, then login again.

Still happening in Chromium, removed all dakka cookies both at work and home.

Are you on a mobile connection or a fixed, wi-fi connection?

Fixed LAN at both sites.

What specific OS and browser version?

Windows 7, Chromium 41.
